Score the Margarita card stock at 5" to make a 4 bar size card base, finished card measures 3 ½" x 5".  

Die cut a circle in card front using Nestabilities Circles Small.  Position one of the balloon dies so that the bottom (balloon tie) cuts the very bottom edge of the circle on the card front to make a large balloon shaped window.  

Stamp the sentiment in the center of the balloon window in Neon Pink Ink.  Stamp the sentiment again (shifted slightly) in Versafine Onyx ink to create a 3D effect.  

Place strips of Neon Pink and Black stripe washi tape on the bottom of the card front.  Tie Onyx baker's twine around the card front above the washi tape.  

Birthday Treat Bags!

I just love these little treats bags - and how the birthday words are stamped on the white stripe!

Margarita cardstock 2" x 2" for star die cut

Stamp Happy Birthday in Onyx Versafine ink along the white diagonal stripes on the treat bag.  

Cut a 2" x 2" piece from a super stick tape sheet.  Peel off one side of the backing and adhere to the Margarita card stock piece.  Position the medium star die in the center of the Margarita card stock square and die cut.  Running the die through the machine twice helps to cut through the the tape backing.  

Remove the second backing from the star die cut and add the Lemon Whip glitter.  Cover the entire shape with glitter and tap off excess.  Adhere the glittered star to the front of the treat bag.  

Wrap neon pink washi tape around the bottom of the treat bag.  Tie Onyx Baker's twine around the bottom of the treat bag.  Accordion fold pieces of Bermuda crepe paper and snip tiny strips to fill the treat bag.

New Washi Tape Coming in April

This card was fun and super simple to make with our new Washi Tapes!  The beautiful new washi tapes are included in the AMuse Studio April Collection.  The Celebration Washi Tape Collection is three rolls, three different patterns.  One pink with blue polka dots, one yellow and white striped and one with different patterns - plaids and stripes that change every couple of inches.

I purchased this cool tool the other day and had a chance to play with it a little bit.  It is called the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers.  It is a quick & easy way to make your own envelopes.  I used Amuse Studio Seattle Pinstripe paper to make an envelope to coordinate with my card.  

Washi Tape - in a new light...

I saw this idea on Pinterest.  I started with the clear tea lights that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  Amuse Studio's washi tape is just the right width to cover the tea lights.  I also used tape that I purchased at Target but it had to be trimmed to a smaller width. 

I had the cute little metal pail that I picked up from the $1 bins at Target & I wrapped amuse studio's red & white washi tape around it.  Washi tape is an easy & fun way to decorate for any occasion.
