Hello Spring

Sure hope that we can say Hello to Spring very soon! It has been a long winter! I had various pieces and parts on my desk and came up with this card. I love all the bright colors!

Amuse Studio Modern Zinnia

I love the Bandana technique on this cute Hello card!

Stamps: Modern Zinnia, Say It With Style

Cardstock: Sky 4Bar card base, Cherry, Seattle Petite Pinstripe, Sugar

Ink: Onyx Versafine

Other: Signo Uni-Ball White Gel Pen, Toffee Twine, Onyx Pearl Stickers

Score Sky cardstock at 5" to make a 4Bar card base scored at top (finished card measures 3 1/2" x 5") Stamp Zinnia images with Onyx Versafine on the Cherry cardstock layer. Using the gel pen, randomly add stitching lines. Stamp the sentiment with Onyx Versafine ink on the sugar layer. Add the Onyx pearl stickers beside the sentiment. Adhere the Seattle Pinstripe layer to the Cherry layer, then adhere to card base. Adhere the sugar layer. Wrap the twine around the card front and tie in a bow.

TIPS: This technique takes a little time & patience but it is so worth it! Make sure you shake the gel pen well before using it.

I double stamped the Modern Zinnia. The first time with Poppy ink using the solid image and the second time with cotton white stazon ink using the open image.
