MEGA FLORAL CALENDAR

I fell in love with this calendar idea from The Stamp Market.  I ordered the calendar and the Mega Floral die to complete the project.  It was pretty easy - I just chose a color for the flower each month and then added the sparkle to the center of the flower.  I did also foil each month with a gold foil.  There is a video tutorial online that gives all the measurements to make the easel for the calendar.  

I decorated the front of the easel with a piece of patterned paper.  So pretty!

My foiling was spotty in places and I'm not sure why that happens sometimes.  I tried to pick a color of card stock to go with each month.  This is really a cute idea and didn't take too much time to put it together.  

HAPPY OCTOBER from THE BOO CREW!

I thought these Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Cake Pop dies were cute!  I used the Pierced Plaid cover plate by The Stamp Market for the background.  The sentiment is from Amuse Studio October Labels.  I think I need to make another card like this, I feel like the eyes on the pumpkin cake pop are too high.  Hmmm.....

 

ARCHED NOUVEAU

This is a fun set from Taylored Expressions called Arched Nouveau stamp set and dies.  I added the Taylored Expressions Sundry Sentiments for the greetings.  The background is from The Stamp Market called Pierced Plaid Cover die.  

PICKED POSIES!

My desk is full of all the pieces of this beautiful floral from the Concord & 9th die set called Picked Posie.  

The Press n' Seal works great to keep your floral arrangement in place & holding the pieces together while you add dimension.  You can easily center and place your design on the card front, then gently peel back the Press n' Seal.  

I decided it was time to make something of all these pieces & parts that I die cut.  I really like the touches of black & white and also the various cover plates for background interest.  

More fun designs.  On the bottom two cards I used patterned paper for the backgrounds.

And this final one, is very clean & simple.

SO MINI HELLOS

These cards started with lots of stamping, die cutting & coloring which are all things I enjoy doing!  This stamp set from The Stamp Market is called So Mini Hellos.  There are so "mini" cute images in the set.  

I used various stencils & ink blended the backgrounds with Amuse Studio Winter Sky ink.

Can you even...The cuteness of that car with craft supplies on top? The sentiment came from Altenew Crafty Friends stamp set.  I thought it worked well with the car packed up with craft supplies.  

The car on the right looks like a Mini Cooper.  

This last set of cards have more of a birthday theme.  I searched through my Memory Box card bases & found various colors that coordinated with the colors in the cards.  The VW is from a Flora & Fauna stamp set that I had but I thought it was a perfect addition! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I had this birthday card in my stash, details on this blog post.  My sister in law's birthday is on Easter this year, so I thought she needed bunny ears on her card! The bunny ears die is from The Stamp Market. 

FALL Y'ALL

I had my Book Club group here for lunch yesterday.  I couldn't resist using my leaf die cuts to add a Fall flare to my table.  I bought the paper napkins at Target and then coordinated my colors of leaves to somewhat match.  The little white pumpkins I bought at our local nursery.  The leaf is from The Stamp Market called Large Leaves Die.  I attached them to the stems of the pumpkins with hot glue.

I bought the bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes and then added the die cut leaves.  This die is from Lawn Fawn called Stitched Leaves.  I just used glue dots to attach the leaf die to the toothpicks.  Very easy but so cute for Fall.  

ALCOHOL INKS

Playing with something new - alcohol inks.  I picked up a few alcohol inks at Michael's with a coupon in Fall colors.  I watched a video and wanted to try this technique.  This pretty leaf die is from Stamp Market called Botanical Beauty.  

I was able to use photo paper for my background paper - and I have a ton of 4x6 photo paper so this was a win-win.  I mixed fall colors of alcohol inks and came up with some pretty backgrounds.  I die cut the leaf out of shiny gold card stock and the alcohol backgrounds.  I glued down the thin gold leaf "frame" first & then inset the various leaf pieces into the design with glue.  The results were lots of shine and pretty blended colors.    

Each one turns out different - so pretty!

HEY, Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I bought this Misty Meadows Altenew wide washi tape a while back & never used it.  I had an idea one day that it would be pretty for St. Pat's Day cards. ☘  I was blown away with the pattern on this washi tape and the gold foiled elements give these cards the perfect amount of glamor & shine - wow!  It's soooo pretty!  Do you ever do this - buy something that you just had to have and then tuck it away?  I know all of us crafters are guilty of this at one time or another.  I was super happy that I bought this beautiful tape and even happier that I actually used it!!  

This die is from The Stamp Market - hey!  I die cut three - black, white & gold mirror card stock.  I glued them all together to stack up the sentiment for dimension on my card.  

After I stuck the washi tape on a piece of card stock, I cut it out with a stitched rectangle.  It worked like a (lucky 😉) charm.  I added the Happy St. Patrick's Day white embossed on black card stock sentiment from Amuse Studio Essential Sentiments Too.  The die cut glitter shamrock is from Taylored Expressions.  

I just love how these cards turned out - I was tempted to buy something "new" for my St. Patrick's Day cards this year, but I'm so proud of myself for using a combination of things I already had in my collection!

QUICK STRIPES

I recently purchased this Quick Stripes die from Mama Elephant.  The die cuts ⅛" ¼" ⅜" ½" strips.  I used card stock from The Stamp Market and few other scraps to get plenty of colors to work with for my cards.  

For this card, I used the ½" strips for a colorful rainbow background.  I used The Stamp Market card stock for the strips.  The Happy Birthday die is from Stampin' Up.  

Another pretty rainbow stripe background.  This time I used the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Word Mix 1 for the sentiment.  I did use a white card base even though the picture doesn't look like it --  bad lighting!

RAINBOWS!

These cute rainbows are all the craze right now!  Thank you Doreen for sending me some die cuts so that I could join in the fun!  This rainbow die is from The Stamp Market along with all the card stock.  So far I made these two cards but thanks to Doreen I have a lot more die cuts to create more cards.  So cute!  Somewhere over the rainbow....

I added Glossy Accents to the heart for a bit of dimension.  

This heart I used a shimmer pen to add sparkle!

FUN STRIPES

Quick and easy birthday cards on the blog today.  I cut various strips of paper created a pretty stripe.  I pulled out two different sentiment sets and stamped various birthday greetings.

I made a couple of cards using Fall colors.  I was playing with my new Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes along with a fun Leafy stencil by Gina K Designs.

A quick Fall-ish thank you card.  The stamp, die & sentiment is from The Stamp Market Botanical Beauty and Many Thanks.  I used Distress Oxide Inks in Rusty Hinge, Fossilized Amber & Spiced Marmalade to  ink blend.  The card base is Dipped Dyed cards from Concord & 9th.  I was inspired by this VIDEO for my card project using supplies that I had in my collection.

I made a few more of these as I had mailed the ones I made in April.  I started with notecards that I bought at Wal-Mart.  I really like the graphic embossed pattern for these Thanks cards. I die cut various thanks words that I had in my collection.  

Bloominous!

This is a fun floral set from The Stamp Market called Bloominous. 

I enjoy stamping, die cutting and coloring pieces.  If I have leftover images, I store them with the stamp/die set for future use.  

I saw this card idea online and couldn't wait to give it a try.  I used The Stamp Market Bloominous & All Lined Up stamp sets.  I used Sparkle Shimmer Spritz all over the card front.  

More thanks

One more card using the re-made Wal-Mart notecards.  The thanks die is from The Stamp Market.  It's so cool, the set includes a shadow die for layering. 

Birthday Cards

I made a few colorful birthday cards.  I started with a pretty striped paper from The Stamp Market.  I used the Stampin' Up Happy Birthday die words and then added a party hat & a balloon from Amuse Studio Birthday Icons.  I used Clear Wink of Stella on one of Happy Birthday words for added sparkle.
