Happy Easter Treat Bag

A cute little bunny treat bag!

Card stock:  Wasabi, Sugar, Everything's Rosy Patterned Paper

Ink: Versamark

Other:  White Embossing Powder, Small Glassine Bag, Toffee Twine, Bunny Die set TAD0074, Static Magic Pouch, 3D foam adhesive, Heat Tool, Die cutting machine

Wasabi Card stock ½" x 2 ¼"

Sugar Card stock 1 ½" x 1 ½" 

Floral Pattern 2" x 6" (scored at 2", 4 ¾")

Fold patterned paper strip around the center of the small glassine bag.  Adhere the back flap of the patterned paper to create a band around the bag.  

Prep the Wasabi card stock with static magic.  Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink on Wasabi card stock strip.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  

Adhere Wasabi card stock strip to the patterned paper on the front of the bag.  Die cut the bunny from Sugar card stock piece.  Adhere the bunny to the front of the bag using 3D foam adhesive.  Tie Toffee twine around the bag, just above the sentiment.  Fill the bag with small candies. 

I made a few more Easter treat bags, they are so cute!  I used both the Bunny Die Set TAD0074 and on the bottom treat bag I used the Somebunny Loves You Stamp Set that has matching dies available in the February 2015 Collection.

Easter Treats!

Linda at Amuse Studio put together these cute Easter tag treats.  She cut the tags with Amuse Studio's Petite Gingham card stocks using the Holiday Tag Die Set.  The Happy Easter sentiment is from For Peep's Sake stamp set and the bunnies are from the new Bunny Die Set.  She tied the tags onto Pastel Sixlets that she picked up at the Dollar Tree.  I love the Spring time colors! 

I thought it would be fun to make some Easter tags at my April Card workshop so I have been busy getting a few things prepared!  Thank you to Linda for the great idea and the tip on finding the Pastel Sixlets at Dollar Tree. 

I used the sentiment from Amuse Studio's Color Me Happy stamp set for my tags.

Bitty Boxes!

I was inspired by the little box on the cover of Amuse Studio's Spring Accessories Guide.  I made the box with the sparkly Mermaid egg and then I added a couple more to my collection!  

The boxes are made by adhering two 6" x 2" strips of cardstock (scored at 2" & 4") Lay the two pieces across one another forming a plus sign pattern.  Glue the pieces together in the bottom of the basket.  Fold up the sides and tie a ribbon around them to create the box.  

Sparkly Mermaid Egg Box:

Rabbit Box:

Hello Spring

Sure hope that we can say Hello to Spring very soon!  It has been a long  winter!  I had various pieces and parts on my desk and came up with this card. I love all the bright colors!

Amuse Studio Paper Carrot Treat

Look at the darling idea from Amuse Studio to make the sour cream containers for carrot Easter treats!  I'll show you a few tips!

You can make 4 sour cream containers out of one sheet of 8 ½" x11" card stock.  I used Amuse Studio's Orange Petite Polka Dot to get started and cut the card stock into 4 equal pieces.  Each piece measures 4 ¼" x 5 ½". 

Apply red sticky tape to both long sides and one short side.  

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape.  Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder.  

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape and press the two sides together. Don't forget to add your treats!  

If you have a paper crimper this will help to reinforce the adhesive.  Slide the taped end into your crimper and slowly add two crimped lines. 

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape, then push the sides together in the opposite direction from the other end.  Crimp the edge of the container.

Decorate the container!

I love our new Crepe paper to make the little carrot top on the container.  This color is the Lime Crepe Paper Item #EAST502.  Our new Green Baker's cording is perfect for attaching a cute circle tag.  I die cut bunnies from our new Bunny Die Set and added die cut grass and/or a flower die.

I was inspired by these darling little treat bags made by the gals at Amuse Studio.  I made several of them and have used them for Thank You notes to customers.  I wrote on the patterned card stock but they could easily slip in a new piece and reuse the treat bag. My business card is tucked in on the other side.  So cute!
