Shirt card

Linda at Amuse Studio made this cute shirt card that would be perfect for Father's Day!  It's always a good idea to get a jump on upcoming holidays, don't you agree?  Father's Day is June 15th this year.

To make the shirt, she used the Mod Backgrounds 1 stamp set.  She stamped it with Orange ink on a piece of Melon cardstock that measured 2"W x 2.5"H. Then flipped over the stamped piece and cut a 1/2" line in the center using an x-acto knife. Then she flipped it back over so the stamped side was facing up and marked a tiny dot 3/8" from the center cut.  Using the back edge of the x-acto knife, she made a score line from the dot to the lowest point of the cut creating a V when both sides were scored.  Fold the collar back and voila!  Shirt!

She stamped the striped tie from our Father's Day stamp set in Slate ink on a strip of Pebble cardstock and then trimmed it with scissors.

I made this card for a bridal shower in April.  The idea came from Amuse Studio Consultant, Marissa.  I love the simplicity of the card but oh so cute!

Father's Day Cards

Linda at Amuse Studio made some cute Father's Day cards don't you think??  

Father's Day will be here before you know it.  Now is the time to make a few cards for the special fathers in your life and our Father's Day stamp set makes it easy!  This set includes 8 stamps for $16.99.

This card design is fast and easy to make.  Linda used white embossing for the Happy Father's Day image on a variety of chevron cardstock colors.  

Amuse Studio Pillow Box Die

A quick pillow box Thank You! 

Amuse Studio Supplies:    SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps:  Showered with Love, Mod Backgrounds 1

Cardstock:  Apricot, Amethyst, Navy

Ink:  Navy

Other:  Vanilla Crepe paper, Clear circle stickers, Vanilla Organdy ribbon, Pillow Box die, Nestabilities Circle, 1 ½" circle punch

Die cut two of the pillow box from Apricot card stock.  Adhere flaps to assemble the pillow box.  Stamp the large dot background from Mod Backgrounds 1 in Navy ink on the Vanilla crepe paper.  Wrap the Crepe paper around the box to create a band.  

Die cut smallest scalloped circle from Amethyst card stock using the Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles small set.  Stamp the sentiment in Navy ink in the center of the die cut Amethyst scalloped circle.  Punch 1 ½" circle from Navy card stock.  Adhere scalloped circle and Navy circle to a clear circle sticker.

Tie Vanilla organdy ribbon around the pillow box.  Adhere Thank You sticker to the front of the box using adhesive.  

Chocolate Bunny!

Here I am again today with a chocolate bunny card!  This time I used Amuse Studio's French Roast Flocking to give the bunny some brown fur.  I used Amuse Studio Simple Stick along with a Versamark ink pad.  The Simple Stick is a heat-activated adhesive that works lovely with our flocking and glitter.

Amuse Studio Paper Carrot Treat

Look at the darling idea from Amuse Studio to make the sour cream containers for carrot Easter treats!  I'll show you a few tips!

You can make 4 sour cream containers out of one sheet of 8 ½" x11" card stock.  I used Amuse Studio's Orange Petite Polka Dot to get started and cut the card stock into 4 equal pieces.  Each piece measures 4 ¼" x 5 ½". 

Apply red sticky tape to both long sides and one short side.  

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape.  Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder.  

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape and press the two sides together. Don't forget to add your treats!  

If you have a paper crimper this will help to reinforce the adhesive.  Slide the taped end into your crimper and slowly add two crimped lines. 

Remove the plastic liner from the sticky tape, then push the sides together in the opposite direction from the other end.  Crimp the edge of the container.

Decorate the container!

I love our new Crepe paper to make the little carrot top on the container.  This color is the Lime Crepe Paper Item #EAST502.  Our new Green Baker's cording is perfect for attaching a cute circle tag.  I die cut bunnies from our new Bunny Die Set and added die cut grass and/or a flower die.

Cardstock: Grass, Paperweight vellum, Flower dies Set 2 (large and medium), Mini glue dots, Tape, candy for body

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Die cut large flower from Grass Cardstock
2. Die cut medium flower from Paperweight Vellum
3. Stamp floral image from Mod Backgrounds 1 on Paperweight Vellum, in Lime ink. Cut off two opposing “petals”
4. Attach Paperweight Vellum layer to Grass layer, folding two opposing “petals” back until they meet, making a “ring” and tape together
5. Using scraps of Grass, cut two thin pieces for antennae, curl the tops, and attach with glue dots
6. Attach candy “body” with glue dots 

Amuse Studio Autumn Greetings!

Don't you just love the colors of Fall?    I love this collage card by Amuse Studio using a variety of different stamps. 

Amuse Studio Products: 

Stamps: Mod BG 1, Script BG, Fresh Foliage (All On Sale during November!)

Cardstock:  Vanilla (Cut 8 1/2" x 6")

Ink:  Wheat, French Roast, Squash

Other:  French Roast Felt, Leaf Trio Dies, 1/4" Super Stick Red tape, Corner Chomper (1/2" side)

Score Vanilla cardstock at 4 1/4" to create the card base.  The finished card measures 4 1/4" x 6". 

Stamp the woodgrain image from Mod Backgrounds 1 with Wheat ink, in upper third of the card, just left of center.

Using French Roast Ink, press half the ink pad onto edge of Script background.  Do not worry about even ink coverage for this technique - a little variance adds to the collage look.

Stamp leaf from Fresh Foliage in Squash ink in upper left corner of woodgrain image.  Ink again and stamp in bottom right corner.  Do not re-ink and stamp again in the bottom right area (overlapping text, woodgrain and previously stamped leaf).

Die cut oak leaf from French Roast felt and adhere to card front.  Use super stick tape & add just a bit to the leaf ends to make sure they stay put.

Stamp sentiment with French Roast ink.

Round the corners on right side of the card with 1/2" side of Corner chomper.
