LUCKY to call you friend

Happy St. Patrick's Day! ☘☘☘☘
I'm lucky to call you friend!  I made a few clean & simple cards to celebrate the day!  The stamp set is from Amuse Studio called Lucky Charm and the shamrock die is from Impression Obsession.

PERFECT POINSETTIAS

Wow, this Altenew Perfect Poinsettias Embossing Folder is stunning!  I did add a bit of ink on the embossing folder before running it thru my die cutting machine.  I used Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz where you see the darker red highlights and on some of them I used white ink.  The silver shimmer & the cream are perfect without any added color.  What a beautiful embossing folder!  I have several of these ready to make into cards.  I'm thinking a simple strip greeting will do it justice and not cover up too much of the intricate poinsettia! I chose the greeting from Impression Obsession called Holiday Top Word Edgers.

Simple Color Block

My inspiration for these cards was this picture from Catherine Pooler's email newsletter.  I really liked the color block idea and thought this would be a great design for guy cards.  I searched thru what I already had & found a great die for making guys cards.
I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment with white card stock using my Impression Obsession Greetings Bottom Word Edgers.  I used shades of grey and/or black for the color blocks.  The strips are 1 ¼" x 4" except for the white which is 1 ¾" x 4" to allow for the Happy Birthday greeting to overlap on the next color.  I used Simon Says Fog, Smoke & Slate card stock, also Taylored Expressions Earl Grey & Poppy Seed and Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow & True Black.
Super simple really - no frills, just a good ole' greeting with a manly vibe!  I made 7 cards so I'll be ready to mail "man cards" for the next couple of months!

Golden Anniversary

I needed a quick anniversary card for my Aunt & Uncle's 50th wedding celebration.  I pulled out an oldie but goodie!  I used an embossing folder for the white layer (in quilting this pattern is called the double wedding ring) so it was the perfect compliment for the card.  I stamped with VersaMark ink and used gold embossing powder.  The sentiment on the envelope is a wood mount stamp from Hero Arts.

How Do I Love Thee

This is the card I gave my husband this year for Valentine's Day.  I had this card in my stash from a few years ago.  The stamp set is by Impression Obsession called Love You Miss You and the dies are Taylored Expressions Cupid's Arrow.    I think the die set may be retired because I can't seem to find it on the TE website.
