Fight Like a Girl Inspiration

I have reached out to many of you to let you know about the HUGE campaign by Amuse Studio to Stamp Out Breast Cancer.  Need some inspiration?  Here are two gorgeous cards from Amuse Studio's Chief Creative Officer, Heather Cullen.

Quick Thank You's

I made these Thank You cards up a couple of months ago & realized that I had not put them on my blog.  These were quick & easy thank you cards and they were fun to make using a variety of amuse studio petite polka dot cardstock.

It all started with a conversation...

Ok, so this whole project started with my husband running into friends of ours a few months ago.  They had not seen each other in a while.  When my husband was asked what I was up to these days he said "she makes cards & sells stuff to make cards".  My husband said the guy sort of crinkled up his nose and said "she does what?"  So I started thinking that I wanted to send our friends a sampler of my card making using all amuse|studio products.  And the biggie for me was the presentation!  So here is what I came up with...

I made the box out of kraft cardstock to fit 4 bar sized note cards.  It was a tutorial from a class that I took online.  I had some lido-colored tissue paper in my stash so I stamped the venetian background in titian ink.  This was a beautiful inlay over top of the note cards.  It really looked classy & professional!  I also used the 1.5" maple tag and stamped Handmade on it from the hand stamped stamp set & attached it with toffee twine.

Now for the cards...Eight note cards fit in the box nicely & I decided on a color palette of titian & lido.  It made it easier for me when designing the cards to stick with a couple of colors. 

I needed several Thank You cards so I decided to mass produce them!  Most of the supplies are by amuse studio except for the sentiment.

Floral Duet is a Fav!

I saw this card idea at amuse|studio Conference & I was anxious to give it a try!  I started out with the base of the card being Titian in the Venetian Pattern.  I stamped the Floral Duet flowers (both small & large) on our Sleepy Hallow text cardstock.  I used Versafine Onyx ink & clear embossing powder.  I like to emboss things that I'm cutting out because it makes it easier to follow the line of the flower.  I manipulated the flowers so that the petals would curl a bit.  I stamped the Happy Birthday words from Graceful Greetings with Cherry Ink on Sugar cardstock.  I added a cherry layer of cardstock & attached the strip across the card.  I attached the big flower with glue dots & the small flower is attached with a dimensional.

Notecards

I had fun stamping up these various notecards with the beautiful amuse|studio inks!  I used the Floral Duet Stamp Set and the new Amuse Studio Handstamped Set (Page 115).  The amuse|studio Logo Set is a special Consultant Only item that amuse studio just made available.  I plan to use these notes as Thank You's to my customers and they look so professional!
