Valentine Love

A quick Valentine card for the hubby.  The stamp set is Amuse Studio C'est la Vie and the sentiment is from Best Friends Forever also Amuse Studio.  I had the dimensional heart sticker in my Valentine project case.  The watercolor design notecards are from Concord and 9th called Happy Hues.  

Thinking of You

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and I wanted to try it with Amuse Studio stamps.  I masked off an area to stamp a portion of the Script Background on the Lichen card base with  Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I stamped the leaf frond from the Love and Thanks stamp set with Fern ink then drew in the darker veins with a Copic Marker.  The Catalogue tag was die cut with Vanilla card stock and then trimmed.

Treat Box!

Other:  Amethyst Crepe Paper, Heart Twinkle Stickers, Sugar Organdy Ribbon, Medium Cellophane Bags, Short Popcorn Box Die, Classic Tag Die Set

Die cut short Popcorn box pieces from Slate card stock.  Stamp heart image in Amethyst ink creating a repeating pattern on all four box sides.  Assemble short popcorn box by adhering bottoms and flaps together.  

Cut strips of Amethyst crepe paper to create a ruffle around the inner edge of the box.  Tape down crepe paper to inside of the box.  

Die cut the tag shape from Amethyst card stock.  Shorten the tag by cutting it down to 2" long and rounding the outer corners with the corner chopper.  

Stamp sentiment and border on the front of the Amethyst tag in Slate ink.  Embellish the heart image with a heart twinkle sticker.  Fill the medium cellophane bag with treats to fit inside the box.  Tie bag closed with Sugar organdy ribbon and tag.  

You Are Loved

Card stock:  Slate card base, Amethyst, Violeta

Ink:  Amethyst, Lichen, Voileta

Other:  Heart trio Die set, Heather Baker's Cording, Square punch

Score the Slate card stock at 4 ¼" to make the card base.  The finished card measures 3 ½" x 4 ¼".  Create a square border on the front of the card base using balloon string image from the Birthday Balloons.  Overlap the lines using Amethyst and Lichen ink.

Stamp the small foliage from the Mini Blooms around the square border in Amethyst and Lichen inks.  Die cut the largest heart from the Heart Trio die set using a small piece of Violeta card stock.  

Adhere the heart to the center of the stamped border using 3D foam adhesive.  Stamp the sentiment in the center of the small Amethyst card stock strip in Violeta ink.  

Use a corner punch to trim the end of the Amethyst card stock strip.  Adhere sentiment to the bottom of the card base using 3D foam adhesive.  Tie Heather baker's cording around the top of the card.
