Christmas Card Inspired!

My inspiration today came from a Christmas card that I received from my friend, Jaelynn.  I love the chalkboard tag and the glittered star.  I decided to copy her card layout and give it a Valentine theme. 

I used Amuse Studio products except for a leaf branch from the Silhouette store.  I love Amuse Studio's Champagne Glitter - it was the perfect touch to add a little sparkle to the heart embellishment.

Card Swap Sneak Peek

I was working on mass producing Halloween cards for a Swap I'm participating in - here are some of the pieces and parts!  I used Amuse Studio Tiny Treat {available August 15th} and Screenprint background. 

Amuse Studio Treat Bags

I saw this cool technique on the internet & thought I had to share it!  This is a neat trick to turn your flat treat bags into a gusset bottom bag with a few simple steps.  

I started with an Amuse Studio Medium Sized {5" x 7 1/2"} Orange Polka Dot Treat Bag and converted it to a gusset bottom bag to give you even more versatility for using these bags for all your parties.  Some times you have treats that don't work the best in the flat type of bag.  So here you go...

I added a piece of cardstock in the bottom of the bag to make it more sturdy.

Amuse Studio Trick or Treat

I made up several of these little treat bags for friends and family.  I purchased the Orange Chevron bags online and then decorated them for Halloween.  I used the No Peeking Stamp set by Amuse Studio along with the Bat Dies Trio to make a cute little tag.  The other tag is a favorite saying - Keep Calm & Scary On is a free printable that I found on Pinterest.  All Amuse Studio Products found HERE!

Amuse Studio Owl Treats!!

Amuse Studio has some awesome Halloween Treat ideas for the month of October!  I absolutely loved the owl stamped on the tag setting a spooky scene!

Other:  Gift Card Insert, Vintage Labels 2 Die (middle size), Twinkle Stickers Lime, 1/8" circle hole punch, Onyx Baker's Twine

Cutting Instructions:

Onyx cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Seattle cardstock  3 1/2" x 5"

Lime Cardstock 1" x 6" (may vary depending on bulkiness of candy used)

Sugar cardstock 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"

For project:

Die cut Gift Card insert from Seattle cardstock.  Adhere to Onyx cardstock (do not add adhesive to back of tabs)

Slide candy into tabs.  Cover with Lime band & adhere band to edges using super stick tape; trim edges as needed after attaching.

Die cut Vintage Label from Sugar cardstock.

Stamp Vintage label, branch, owl and sentiment on sugar label using Versafine onyx ink.

Embellish owl's eyes with twinkle stickers.

Punch holes on sides of sugar label for baker's twine.  Wrap baker's twine around project and tie. 

Here is my version of the Halloween Treats.  I was able to find the Halloween Pretzel bags in black & orange so they are the perfect colors for my Treats!
