SPOOKY

This is a background stamp that I bought a while ago & never used it.  This seems to be a theme lately, pulling out stuff that I had to have and then never used!  My rule is that I can't file away anything that I haven't used so this has been in a basket for a long time!  I remember watching a video that Laura Bassen did using this background and she did color blending for a Halloween look.  It is a Simon Says Stamp Lantern Background but it certainly works as a pumpkin background too!  

I did the ink blending with the domed foam after white embossing on the Neenah Solar White 110# card stock.  I used Distress inks in Crackling Campfire,  Spiced Marmalade & Mustard Seed and Catherine Pooler Grape Crush.  The Spooky words are from Amuse Studio Candy Corn Kisses.  The bat & ghost dies are from Amuse Studio.  The Happy Haunting words are from Taylored Expressions Harvest sentiment strips.

Tombstone Banner

You can whip up a fun little Tombstone banner for your Halloween party!

Card stock:  Seattle, Slate

Ink:  Pebble

Other:  Rounded Pennant Duo Die Set, Even Taller Alphabet Die set, Sugar Crepe Paper, Ghost Tag Die, Tiny Attacher, ⅛" hole punch, Orange Organdy ribbon

Seattle card stock:  4" x 5" (for each pennant die cut)

Slate card stock: 1" x 1" (3 pieces, for letter die cuts)

Die cut the smallest rounded pennant from Seattle card stock.  Stamp label shape in Pebble ink in the center of the pennant die cut.  Rub the Pebble ink around the edges of the pennant die cut.  

Die cut RIP alphabet letters from Slate card stock.  Adhere the letters to the stamped labels shape on the pennant.  

Die cut the ghost tag from Sugar crepe paper (fold over crepe paper to die cut multiple ghosts at one time).  Punch two ⅛" holes in the top of the pennant die cut.  String together the pennant shapes using the Orange organdy ribbon to create a banner.

Stitched Ghost Tag

This was a card I created for a swap.  The new Amuse Studio stitched Ghost die is so cute and makes a fun and simple card.  I die cut three of the Ghost Tags and glued them together to add dimension to the card, I love doing this!  The die cut boo words were cut out of Onyx card stock and then I went over them with the Clear Wink of Stella brush to add a nice sparkle!

Tag Bundle Die Set

Wow, have you seen this new Tag Bundle Die Set from Amuse Studio?  I had a chance to use it the other day and there are so many fun elements in this die set.  The large pinking edge is perfect for layering on an A2 size card.  The stitched layer works well as a layer on a card or is fun on its own.  Now for my favorite the stitched tag - oh my gosh I love it so much!  And then when I figured out that it fits perfectly inside our small treat bags I was thrilled!  And to top off the set, the two small stitched tag shapes are great for many things.  

Oh and I couldn't fail to mention these awesome new stitched Ghost Tag & Jack Tag dies!  They are just perfect for our treat bags and so very cute!
