HEY, Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I bought this Misty Meadows Altenew wide washi tape a while back & never used it.  I had an idea one day that it would be pretty for St. Pat's Day cards. ☘  I was blown away with the pattern on this washi tape and the gold foiled elements give these cards the perfect amount of glamor & shine - wow!  It's soooo pretty!  Do you ever do this - buy something that you just had to have and then tuck it away?  I know all of us crafters are guilty of this at one time or another.  I was super happy that I bought this beautiful tape and even happier that I actually used it!!  

This die is from The Stamp Market - hey!  I die cut three - black, white & gold mirror card stock.  I glued them all together to stack up the sentiment for dimension on my card.  

After I stuck the washi tape on a piece of card stock, I cut it out with a stitched rectangle.  It worked like a (lucky 😉) charm.  I added the Happy St. Patrick's Day white embossed on black card stock sentiment from Amuse Studio Essential Sentiments Too.  The die cut glitter shamrock is from Taylored Expressions.  

I just love how these cards turned out - I was tempted to buy something "new" for my St. Patrick's Day cards this year, but I'm so proud of myself for using a combination of things I already had in my collection!

My Valentine cards for this year!  My inspiration was actually the polka dot envelopes that I found in my stash.  I wanted to coordinate the colors with the cute envelope.

Happy Easter!

A colorful variety of Easter cards.  These cards were inspired by Linda at Amuse Studio.  I had most of the same supplies that she used & managed to come up with some cute Easter greetings!  

Each card is just slightly different.  On this one I have the bunny peeking out the top of the row of flowers.  

I love the woodgrain card stock for the basket - looks like a real wood basket!

Beach cards

This die called Pool Party by Taylored Expressions & it is perfect for a retirement card.  Thanks Doreen for the idea!  I have also used the die for a fun anniversary card (see below).  I had this one in my stash and just added the sentiment from the Amuse Studio Essential Sentiments Too stamp set.  This card is for a friend that is retiring and moving to Florida!  

Happy Hearts!

This idea came from an Anniversary card that we received in the mail from Laura.  She said that a Stampin' Up gal had made the card.  I love the simplicity of the Happy Heart embossing folder from Stampin' Up.  I thought these would be perfect to have ready to go for that next anniversary greeting I need to send!  I used the smallest heart from the Amuse Studio Heart Trio die set.  The sentiment is from the Amuse Studio Essential Sentiments Too stamp set.  Thank you, Doreen for the embossing folder!!

Just Saying Hello

A fun card that I made a while ago.  I stamped the larger polka dots with Papaya ink over top of the reverse polka dot patterned paper.  I used the stamp positioner to get the lanterns lined up just right on the string.

You're The Best

There are so many fun ways to use the Amuse Studio Hibiscus Border stamp.  I stamped it in black twice and then used the Stitched Circle die to cut out a circle and then positioned the circle over top, lining things up just right.  I used some foam adhesive on the stitched circle to add dimension.

I made this card in May and I thought I would share.  You could easily change the sentiment for your occasion.  I used my Misti tool to ink up the floral border and when I wanted to add color I just inked up the image again and applied another layer of color.  I just love using the MISTI and it really is the Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented.  If you haven't checked it out yet, but sure to watch this video.

Thinking of You

A card I made a while ago using an Amuse Studio favorite stamp set called House Plants.  I started with a piece of watercolor paper and laid down a wash of color with a water brush.  I used three Splash inks to create the background.  I used all Splash inks to color the plants and flowers as well.

Beautiful Botanicals!

I had fun playing with the new Amuse Studio Botanical Silhouettes stamp set which is part of the April Collection.  I started out with a piece of paper from the Everything's Rosy patterned paper.  It is a cool ombre-ish paper with white distress scattered through out.  I stamped the botanical images with Onyx Versafine ink and then trimmed the pieces and attached them to a piece of Sugar card stock.  I love how this turned out!

Thankful Wreaths

I wanted to share a couple more Fall cards before everything turns to Christmas!  I used Amuse Studio stamps & supplies.  The Festive Wreaths and Essential Sentiments Too stamp sets paired with Vanilla, Toffee & Nutmeg card stock gives a nice Fall look!

Fall is in the Air

This card combines the Mini Blooms and Love and Thanks stamp sets.  The sentiment is from the Hey Foxy stamp set.  The ink colors are Orange, Pumpkin, Wheat, Fern, Wasabi and Evergreen to create a fall fiesta of colors.  Orange twinkle stickers and 4mm Buttercup sequins add the perfect finishing touch.

Pumpkin, Fern, Buttercup and Cocoa ink on a Kraft Fishtail stitched tag - so pretty!  The sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments Too stamp set.
