Bitty Boxes!

I was inspired by the little box on the cover of Amuse Studio's Spring Accessories Guide.  I made the box with the sparkly Mermaid egg and then I added a couple more to my collection!  

The boxes are made by adhering two 6" x 2" strips of cardstock (scored at 2" & 4") Lay the two pieces across one another forming a plus sign pattern.  Glue the pieces together in the bottom of the basket.  Fold up the sides and tie a ribbon around them to create the box.  

Sparkly Mermaid Egg Box: 

Cardstock:  Buttercup Gingham, Sugar, Mermaid

Other:  Egg Die, Scallop Border Die, Mermaid Glitter, Sugar Organdy Ribbon

Rabbit Box:

Cardstock:  Sugar, Blush

Other:  Ears are made from the leaves of the Flowers Die Set 2 (see photo below), Heart Twinkle Sticker, Silver Brads for the basket handle

Bunny Bum Box:

Cardstock:  Buttercup Gingham, Orange, Orange Petite Polka Dot

Other:  Bunny Die Set, Scallop Border Die Set, Papaya Sheer Organdy Ribbon, Bunny Bum

Stamps: Mod backgrounds 1

Ink: Lime
Cardstock: Grass, Paperweight vellum, Flower dies Set 2 (large and medium), Mini glue dots, Tape, candy for body

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Die cut large flower from Grass Cardstock
2. Die cut medium flower from Paperweight Vellum
3. Stamp floral image from Mod Backgrounds 1 on Paperweight Vellum, in Lime ink. Cut off two opposing “petals”
4. Attach Paperweight Vellum layer to Grass layer, folding two opposing “petals” back until they meet, making a “ring” and tape together
5. Using scraps of Grass, cut two thin pieces for antennae, curl the tops, and attach with glue dots
6. Attach candy “body” with glue dots 

A fun little floral birthday card. 

I used amuse studio's Flower Die Set 2 for the floral cutout.

You Are Fabulous...

I made this card that was found in the 2012 Amuse Studio Catalog & Inspiration Guide.  The catalog truly is inspiring!  I love this card that was found on Page 111 of the catalog & decided I would make it for a friend.  I started with Pebble Cardstock for the card base.  The shell pink felt flower is made using Flower Die Set 2.
