Merry & Bright

I love this new Hand Lettered Christmas sentiment set by My Favorite Things.  The scripty font is so pretty.  The card design was inspired by one of my favorite clean and simple designers Laurie Willison
I didn't have the same tree but was able to find a pretty Amuse Art Stamps tree in my collection.  I used Amuse Studio inks and paper.

I took a close up photo of the card so that you can see the Geometric Grid Background stamp by My Favorite Things.  I used Amuse Studio Pebble Ink so it is very subtle but helps fill in the white space.  I also added Clear Sparkle Spectrum Noir to the veins of the trees but the picture doesn't show you the sparkle very well.

Another Beauty

Another beauty I made with the Poinsettia and Pine stamp set by Altenew. The inspiration for this card came from HERE.   This design used everything but the poinsettia - well almost, not all of the pine branches.  I started with a White woodgrain card base.  I stamped and die cut all the pieces and then did some Copic coloring.  The sentiment is an old Amuse Art Stamps wood mount image.  For the final touch I added Clear Sparkle with the Spectrum Noir on the pinecones.

Hibiscus Border

A fun new floral stamp set from the Amuse Studio June collection is the Hibiscus Border.  The dots in the middle of the Hibiscus flowers are from the Mini Blooms stamp set.  The sentiment is an old wood mount stamp from the Amuse Art Stamps days.

Amuse Studio - a little comparison

If you are a long time follower/buyer of Amuse stamps you will remember the Amuse Artstamps wood mounted stamp of the parade of trick or treaters.  As you can see from the card on the right, the image was smaller in the older version.  I'm happy to report that the new cling mount image is just the right size and much easier to color!

This is an awesome stamp set that everyone should have in their Halloween collection by
Amuse Studio called You've Been Booed.

An old favorite...

I found a few of these Holiday Cars already colored & ready to mount to a card when I was cleaning out my Christmas project case the other day.  I decided to go ahead & make them into a quick & easy cards so that I could use them over the holidays.  The car is a wood mount stamp from the old Amuse Art Stamps and the words are from
Signature Christmas by Papertrey Ink.

Buttons...

Laura was inspired by this card done by Kristina Werner on her card video here.
I love the colors that Laura used on this card.  The pretty striped patterned paper and a few buttons made a darling little thank you card!

Hippo-Birdie to You!

The hippo & the birdie are both by AMuse Art Stamps.  This is a card that Doreen made & I copied to have a few in my stash.  I'm getting ready to send it to our niece who is turning 6 years old later this week.

January Calendar

It has been driving me crazy that I didn't have a calendar by my computer yet for 2011!  I got this idea from my sister in law, Laura to use a different AMuse shop or store for each month.  I already had all the months stamped & mounted on black paper but I didn't have the coloring done.  I colored the first 4 months so I didn't have to do them all at once.  I love the Brownstone for January!

North Pole

The North Pole sign stamp is by AMuse Art Stamps.  I used a glitter pen & a red marker to color in the sign.  I'm not sure who makes the words - sorry!  I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the scallop.

This was a Christmas card that I made last year.  The truck is called Fetch the Tree by AMuse Art Stamps.  I colored the truck red & made it into a Buckeye Truck!  The white portion is done with a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Tiny Bubbles.  I thought it sort of looked like snow?!!

Sending you sunshine

Doreen & I made these cards for our card sale a few years ago.  It is a nice greeting for someone that is under the weather.  I couldn't find the stamp on the AMuse website, so maybe it has been retired?

The trees stamp is by Northwoods Rubber Stamp Company.  I stamped the trees with brown ink & clear embossing powder on ivory cardstock.  The words Thank you for Everything & The Shimmer Couture Damask cardstock in Mango is from AMuse Art Stamps.  The paper has a shimmer to it that you may not be able to see in my picture.  Another fall theme...
