BOOKMARKS ARE DONE!

THE Ohio State bookmarks are all done!

I bought these bookmarks from Diamond Dotting Divas while I was in Phoenix.  I had a fun day with friends at the Mesa Market.  These bookmarks are colorful and were fun to put together.

CRAFTERNOON KIT!

My Crafternoon kit arrived from THE Ohio State University.  I look forward to these kits every year.  I was excited to see six Diamond art bookmarks in the kit!  I'm going to get started on one this morning while watching basketball games!
I separated the gems into small plastic containers to make it easier to pour them out and return them into the containers.  I'll report back after I finish one!

OH-IO

I found some Ohio State related patterned paper in my stash so I decided to make another postage collage card.  I found a few stickers and letters to complete the simple card.

OH-IO

I decided to use the Waffle Flower postage collage die without adding any of the postage stamp extras. The Buckeyes are my favorite team so this card was fun to make.  I used various stamps and dies that I had in my collection.

IN THE ABSTRACT

Here are my completed cards using the Taylored Expressions In The Abstract kit.
I used Taylored Expressions ink - Cookie Monster, Sprinkles, Avocado and Spearmint.  The small stamped sprig is from Kerri Bradford Home for Christmas.

I used three pink shades of Taylored Expressions ink.  The stamped leaf  & sentiment is from Flora & Fauna Mini Be Well Branch.

I made the Hello Friend card on the right first and then was inspired by the colors and just had to  make another one with an Ohio State sentiment!  I added a Buckeye leaf to complete the look!
Taylored Expressions Inks Eggplant, Avocado, Candy Corn, Dijon, Blue Corn, Cilantro, Pineapple, Sweet Potato Pie and a few blues (sorry I didn't write them all down)  These cards have a Fall feel and were so fun to create.

CRAFTERMATH

I recently purchased the latest kit from Taylored Expression called In the Abstract.  It is unique and I thought it would be fun to play with all the different combinations.
Yikes - this is my desk completely covered - better known as the CRAFTERMATH!

I had a blast combining the stencils, clear stamps & dies in both bright and bold and a few muted color combinations.
I had other abstract type stamps in my collection that I added to some of the designs.  I couldn't help myself & even included an Ohio State design in the mix!
I'll be posting some completed cards soon -

I MISS YOUR FACE

I saw this card idea online and thought it was a just perfect for the times we are living in.  I sent this to a friend that I miss and that also enjoys college football like I do.  I colored her shoes/pants in her school colors and mine in my college colors.  The stamp set is from Ellen Hutson called Photo Lady.  I just stamped her legs on down and added a strip of thin washi tape and the sentiment.
We heard last week that there will be no Fall Big Ten football...it's such a bummer!  Fall and Football are my favorite time of year.

OH-IO MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I had this card in my stash from a Taylored Expression event.  Our niece and her husband are heading to Indy today to cheer on the Buckeyes at the Big Ten Championship game.  I'm hoping this card will arrive to them before the big game!
I added a tiny Ohio State sticker to the car to make it even more "special" for our Buckeye family!
I couldn't resist the OHIO outline on the envelope and a few sticker tattoos for them to wear to the game.  GO BUCKEYES!

BRUTUS!

Laura picked this up at a craft show and gave it to me for Halloween.  This little Brutus treat just made my day!  It was made using the Stampin' Up Curvy Keepsake Box.  Since the Buckeyes are on a bye this weekend, I thought I would show a little love for Brutus!
Here I go, I wanted to make more!  Laura die cut a few of the boxes for me and  I went to town on these little Brutus favors.  I found various punches in my collection that worked to make the faces.  I have a very old Ohio State themed stamp set from Jillian Vance that came in handy for making the tags.  I also have a die cut for the leaf & buckeye! A bit of scarlet & grey twine and we are good to go!
Go Bucks!

OH-IO

Ohio State Football starts today!  My favorite time of the year!!  Go Buckeyes!  I made a Block O & Buckeye leaf with dies that I have for my HOME sign.  Thanks to Laura for this great gift, I love changing it for the seasons.
Up close Block O for our Buckeyes!

Valentine Treats!

I've been having some fun with this new nugget treat holder from My Favorite Things.  I made up some cute nuggets for Valentine's Day.  I realized that I forgot to take pictures of all the Valentine's nugget treats that I made before I sent them off to friends.
I couldn't miss doing a few Buckeye & Hawkeye themed treats!
For My Hawkeye friend!
I just love how these Ohio State nugget packs turned out.  I was able to use patterned papers that I had in my stash.  I did copy them on my printer to adjust the size of the pattern so that the nugget wrapper was a good fit.  I cut out the Block O's and Brutus.

Go Bucks!

A fun card in honor of my favorite team!  I used stamps & dies from Jillian Vance Designs.  The scarlet layer was embossed with a brick embossing folder.  For the grey rectangle stitched layer I used the die from the Amuse Studio Tag Bundle set.

OH - IO

Yes, I'm a Buckeye fan and proud of it!  My husband is a graduate of THE Ohio State University and I'm a brainwashed Buckeye over the last 30 years!  I do love me some college football!  The stitched tag dies that I used to make these tags are from Amuse Studio and I consider them "must haves" in my die collection.  They are the Tag Bundle Set, the Stitched Circles and the Fishtail Stitched Tag available thru Amuse Studio while supplies last.  The Ohio State word die and stamps are from Jillian Vance Designs and the Buckeye Leaf and Buckeyes are from a very old set of dies - remember the 2x2 inch dies?  And the Quickutz Squeeze - anybody?  We've come a long way baby!
