CONGRATULATIONS!

I've been wanting to make a few cards for family & friends who are becoming Grandparents!  I found a stamp set from Colorado Craft Company Congrats that included the perfect sentiment.  The congratulations stamp/die is from Honey Bee Pickup Lines.  The floral is Avery Elle Mother's Day.
I used my trusty Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to do the coloring on the flowers.
The black & white accents are patterned paper on the left and washi tape on the right.

NEW HOME

These MFT My Neighborhood houses made a cute new home card!  I started with the Honey Bee Quilted Cover Plate and then die cut the houses out of card stock scraps.
Simple inside greeting to complete the card.

HAPPY JULY!

I combined pieces and parts from various dies to create this card.  The background is Diagonal Stitched Plaid by Pink Fresh Studio.  I'm kinda hooked on these cover plate dies to add texture to the background.  The Burlap Texture is from Altenew.  The flower is Fresh Cut Florals Edition 2 by Concord & 9th and the leaves are from Rustic Floral by Taylored Expressions.  The best wishes sentiment & dies are called Pickup Lines from Honey Bee Stamps.

HELLO LOVELY

There are certain images in my stamping collection that I will always love and this is one of them.  It is Concord & 9th Hello Lovely.  I was inspired by a yellow & gray floral that I saw online.👇  I did partial coloring of the image with Copic markers and added the sentiment from Honey Bee Pickup Lines.
I used the same image on the dark gray & white card.  I didn't do any coloring only die cut the floral image.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Background Strips.
This card was stamped on watercolor card stock.  I love all the pretty colors and this floral image is fun to color.
Three cards using the same stamp set.  Starting with the card at the top left that has lots of coloring, then the lower one is partially colored and the third card no coloring at all.  This image is so versatile and just beautiful.  You can color it up or leave it plain and she's a beauty no matter what!

ADDITIONAL PICTURES:
So I realized later that this watercolored floral was colored in October 2017.  Hey, Doreen & Susan do you remember us coloring these in Scottsdale?  Or maybe not since we had a few brewskis?  I had this colored floral tucked in the plastic sleeve with the stamp set and finally decided to make it into a card almost 4 years later!
Look at these beauties - works of art!

BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS!

On this card, I used the Papertrey Ink Linen Embossing Plate after I had all the coloring done.  It adds a nice texture to the white space.
I keep coming back to this stamp, I really really love it.  Honey Bee Pretty Postage.  The blessings word & die cut is Honey Bee Pickup Lines & the stamped Birthday is from Hero Arts Congrats Happy.  I saw this color combination online & probably would have never thought to color the leaves blue, pink & gray, it's so pretty! I used the Wonky Stitched rectangles from My Favorite Things & layered it onto a Fog card base.

CONGRATULATIONS

This is a favorite from Simon Says Stamp called Floral Bliss.  I stamped it and used the Daniel Smith paint dots that were sent with the kit.  I know I've had this for a couple of years and the paint dots still worked just great.  The congratulations sentiment & die is from Honey Bee Pickup Lines.
Excited to celebrate with Ethan & Madison very soon!  ðŸ’‘

PRETTY POSTAGE METALLIC!

Happy March 1st!  Remember a few weeks ago when I posted all the Honey Bee Pretty Postage cards?  I have one more for you.  If you have been stamping a long time like I have, you may have some version of these metallic colored pencils in your stash.  I was inspired by a card that Kristina Werner did using metallic paints.  I stamped the image on black card stock with Versamark ink and embossed with silver embossing powder.  I used the metallic pencils to color in the image.
I used a couple of fun square stitched borders to cut out the image.  I layered it on a square ivory card base.  The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings.

PRETTY POSTAGE

There was a whole lotta coloring going on the stamp room on a cold, snowy day!  I pulled out my Spectrum Noir markers and went to town on this Pretty Postage stamp set by Honey Bee.

I started out by stamping with Onyx Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I colored the flowers in various colors and for the envelope I used a gray Copic marker C1.  I added the white dots on the envelope with a white gel pen.
I love how the dies cut out the words, they are perfectly outlined!

Pretty Postage cards in several colors - I plan to use these cards for anniversary or birthday greetings.  I'll stamp the inside with another sentiment suitable for the occasion.   I just love this stamp set.  So fun to color!
