PERENNIAL SCENES

Thanks Doreen for inspiring me to get out this pretty Taylored Expressions Perennial Scenes layering stencil.  The colors are so bright and cheery.  Ink colors are all Taylored Expressions - Lollipop, Pumpkin, Cilantro and Sweet Basil.  My panels are foiled with Gold foil but it doesn't show up too well in the photo.
I only used one of the panels so far to make a card.  I used the new Taylored Expressions Fineline Frame embossing folder from my recent Combo Club goodies.  The sentiment is from Concord & 9th called You are the Best.

FLOWER PRESS PUZZLE

Another puzzle - this one is from Concord & 9th called Flower Press.  I placed an order recently for their new card stock and ink colors and saw they had a puzzle marked down.  It was a fun one!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I have been playing with new embossing folders and dies from The Greetery.  The embossed frame and hearts are from The Greetery.  The stitched background is new from Taylored Expressions called Quilted. The sentiment is from Concord & 9th.  I made this into a shaped card.  I love how it turned out.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

This is Concord & 9th die set turned out very pretty.  It's called Triple-Step Blooming Heart die.  I die cut it and then filled in all the colored card stock pieces.  It took some time but it was fun to do!

FOREST FIR

I ordered these craft kits from Concord & 9th.  There are three trees that you put together.  There is a video to follow and it's super simple!

Getting started - video is ready.  Begin with getting the dowel in the wood base.  Next curl all the boughs.  Then start layering the different sizes of the boughs with a spacer in between.  My first tree is the Forest Fir.

So pretty and realistic looking!  This is the smallest of the three trees.  I'll post when I get the other two completed!

PATTERN PLAY

I had fun with the Concord & 9th Pattern Play cover plate & dies.  I die cut the cover plate with an off white heavyweight card stock.  I used Concord & 9th card stock colors in Watermelon, Nectar, Sprout & Pistachio to add a few popped up shapes to the panel.  The Thanks die cut is from Altenew.
Same card design - the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions called Bold Birthday.  I added a few clear dew drops to both cards.  I still have this set on my desk and I'd like to try a few more color combinations.  Maybe something more masculine.

FINE LINE FLORALS

A super quick card using the Concord & 9th Fine Line Florals stamp.  Add a sentiment and it's done!

PICKED POSIES!

My desk is full of all the pieces of this beautiful floral from the Concord & 9th die set called Picked Posie.

The Press n' Seal works great to keep your floral arrangement in place & holding the pieces together while you add dimension.  You can easily center and place your design on the card front, then gently peel back the Press n' Seal.
I decided it was time to make something of all these pieces & parts that I die cut.  I really like the touches of black & white and also the various cover plates for background interest.
More fun designs.  On the bottom two cards I used patterned paper for the backgrounds.
And this final one, is very clean & simple.

BRING ON THE CAKE!

Today's inspiration came from the new Birthday release from Taylored Expressions.  I realized I already a similar die set in my collection and I was inspired to get it out and make a few cards!  Go me!
My die set is from Concord & 9th was a FREE gift with purchase a few years ago.  I had a few pieces & parts tucked in the envelope but I had never made them into a card.  It's high time right?
Here's my inspiration die!

The rainbow cake is a bit different, I didn't use the cake layer die, I made my own strips of card stock and stacked them all together.  I attached my sweet birthday cakes to all kinds of fun patterned papers.  Another thing I have a plenty of - 6x6 paper pads!  ðŸ™„

HAPPY JULY!

I combined pieces and parts from various dies to create this card.  The background is Diagonal Stitched Plaid by Pink Fresh Studio.  I'm kinda hooked on these cover plate dies to add texture to the background.  The Burlap Texture is from Altenew.  The flower is Fresh Cut Florals Edition 2 by Concord & 9th and the leaves are from Rustic Floral by Taylored Expressions.  The best wishes sentiment & dies are called Pickup Lines from Honey Bee Stamps.

BEAUTIFUL FRAME

This delicate border makes for some stunning cards.  The Leaf Burst Rectangle Frame by Paper Rose includes the border as well as the stitched inside piece.  I used a lighter weight shimmer card stock and die cut the border.  My card bases have some texture to them so they are a nice background element.
I used the flower from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp & die cut.  I covered the flower with a shimmer pen, which is hard to see in the photo.  The Happy Day sentiment is a pre-printed word strip from Simon Says.
This flower is from Concord & 9th called Fresh Cut Florals Edition 2.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Birthday Strips.

HELLO LOVELY

There are certain images in my stamping collection that I will always love and this is one of them.  It is Concord & 9th Hello Lovely.  I was inspired by a yellow & gray floral that I saw online.👇  I did partial coloring of the image with Copic markers and added the sentiment from Honey Bee Pickup Lines.
I used the same image on the dark gray & white card.  I didn't do any coloring only die cut the floral image.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Background Strips.
This card was stamped on watercolor card stock.  I love all the pretty colors and this floral image is fun to color.
Three cards using the same stamp set.  Starting with the card at the top left that has lots of coloring, then the lower one is partially colored and the third card no coloring at all.  This image is so versatile and just beautiful.  You can color it up or leave it plain and she's a beauty no matter what!

ADDITIONAL PICTURES:
So I realized later that this watercolored floral was colored in October 2017.  Hey, Doreen & Susan do you remember us coloring these in Scottsdale?  Or maybe not since we had a few brewskis?  I had this colored floral tucked in the plastic sleeve with the stamp set and finally decided to make it into a card almost 4 years later!
Look at these beauties - works of art!

ANOTHER 2021 CALENDAR

Here is another Concord & 9th calendar that I put together.  This one took way more time because I did Copic coloring on all of the floral images.  I used the Concord & 9th Annuals stamp set.  The flowers and the month images are included in the set.  The November fall swag came from Avery Elle Cloche stamp set.

I used Copic markers and a few Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.

2021 CALENDAR

I was excited to make a 2021 Concord & 9th Calendar!  The calendar size is 3 ½" x 6".  I used the Concord & 9th Buds & Blossoms stamp set to stamp all the floral images on the calendar pages.  I used the Concord & 9th Month by Month dies & die cut each month out of black card stock.  It was pretty simple stamping so I was able to get this calendar done fairly quick.  It was a bit of a challenge to come up with different combinations for each month.

Ink Colors:
Stamp Market Citrine, Catherine Pooler Mint to Be, Stamp Market Coral Reef, Pinkfresh Studio Peach Fuzz & Berrylicious, Onyx Versafine

THANKFUL

I made a few Thanksgiving cards.  I have enjoyed the Concord & 9th All the Letters dies as you can choose whatever sentiment you want to use on your card.  THANKFUL -  I added the Taylored Expressions Harvest Mini Strips for a secondary greeting.  Most of the card stock that I used for the letters is from Concord & 9th - all the falls colors.  The Scattered Leaves Embossing Folder is from Taylored Expressions.  I also used the Rectangle Masking Stencils from Taylored Expressions to mask off the area that I ink blended.  I like the white border around the blended rectangle.
I started with the Kwan Crafts Leaves Embossing Folder on Canson XL watercolor paper.

THANKFUL...in all things give thanks.  Happy Thanksgiving!

eat drink AND BE thankful

Here's a fun Fall/Thanksgiving card.  I started out with the Concord & 9th Tree Ring Background stamp.  I stamped the sentiment from Amuse Studio Eat Drink & Be Thankful stamp set.  The dies are from Ellen Hutson Gourd-Jus die set.

HAPPY!

I made up a few colorful cards - this is a simple design that I have made before.  When the creativity isn't there, I figured why not make cards with an idea that I already had used before. Trying to stay HAPPY here!

MERRY & BRIGHT

The Simon Says Stamp Leaves & Berries background has become an all time favorite of mine.  It has been on my desk since it arrived and I keep using it! I stamped the background on green card stock and embossed with Antique Gold embossing powder.  I colored in the leaves with a Jane Davenport Golden Age pen.  For the red berries I used Jane Davenport Thriller Jacket red pen.  The Merry die is from Concord & 9th.  The merry & bright sentiment is from Tim Holtz Gilded Christmastime Rubs.  I love the elegance of this card in classic Christmas colors.
