Amuse Studio National Conference Swap

New Ink & Cardstock to play with to make my card swaps for National Conference!  

I couldn't pick a favorite color from our new Fiesta Palette so I picked three!  

I can't wait to see all the swaps I collect at the 2014 Amuse Studio NatCon in Santa Fe, New Mexico!  I'm so excited!

I used a couple of new stamp sets and a couple of older stamp sets to create my card for the Team Card Swap.

Amuse Studio Pretty Peonies

Stamps:  Pretty Peonies, Making a Difference

Cardstock:  Navy, Sky

Ink:  Amethyst, Navy

Other:  Vanilla Twine, Detail scissors

Card base Navy - 4 ¼" x 8 ½" scored at left (white side out)

Sky card stock 4" x 4"

Score the Navy card stock at 4 ¼" to make a square card base (4 ¼" square)

Stamp the solid peony image in Amethyst ink on the outside of the Navy card card base (front should be white)  Stamp once on the left side of the card front and once in the lower right corner.  Stamp peony outline over the flower images in Navy ink.  Stamp peony outline in Amethyst ink in lower left corner, filling in the white space.  

Stamp sentiment in Navy ink in lower left corner.  Cut along the edges of the flowers using detail scissors and revealing the Navy card inside.  Adhere the Sky layer to the inside of the card.  Tie Vanilla twine around the card to hold the front flap closed.

Amuse Studio Modern Zinnia

I double stamped the Modern Zinnia.  The first time with Poppy ink using the solid image and the second time with cotton white stazon ink using the open image.
