BIRTHDAY GNOME

I needed a card for my sister-in-law and I had this card in my stash.  I couldn't resist adding the mask in light of what our world is dealing with right now.  I hope it gives her a laugh!

Here are the details of the card from when I first created it several years ago!  

I used the Amuse Studio Card Catalogue Die to make a window in the white card stock layer.  The sunburst pattern is from the Everything's Rosy paper pack.  It worked out to be the perfect background.

I made cards like these a while ago but decided I wanted to make more using the new Taylored Expressions Simple Strips sentiments.  I already had a few die cuts ready to color and the sentiments were ready as well.  Quick & easy card making!  

Meanwhile back in the stamp room....

I spent time in my stamp room over the weekend while watching basketball.  I was inspired by Carissa Wiley for the layout on these cards.  I love the clean & simple look.  The sentiments embossed in white on the black card stock are the perfect finishing touch!
