Cupcake Wrapper Easter Treats!

Look at the darling Easter Treats that Linda at Amuse Studio created with our Cupcake Wrapper die.  The Amuse Studio Cupcake Wrapper Die set includes two dies, regular size and mini size.

To start, add a strip of adhesive to the inside of the cupcake wrapper from the tab to the far edge.  Then take your crepe paper and place about ¼" on the left edge of the adhesive and accordion fold along the adhesive strip to make a ruffle on the inside of the cupcake wrapper.  Be sure to go all the way to the edge of the cupcake wrapper so that there is no gap when it is assembled.  

Next trim off approximately ¼" off the top edge of the crepe paper and then cut into the edge to make a fringe/grass look.  Add a mini cupcake liner to put your treats in and die cut the bunny shape.  These would so cute on your Easter dinner table, you could write your guests names on the bunny.

Amuse Studio Easter Egg Sleeves

Ink:  Papaya, Sage

Other:  Felt (Sage, Vanilla, Fern, Yellow), Papaya Organdy Ribbon, Cupcake Wrappers Set, Flowers die set, Corner Chomper

Sugar cardstock for egg tag is cut ¾" x 1 ¾" using ¼" corner rounder to round opposite corners of the tag.  

Die cut small cupcake wrapper from Sage or Fern felt.  Die cut small flowers from Vanilla and Yellow felt.  Die cut small leaves from Fern or Sage felt.  Adhere the felt flowers to the front of the felt egg sleeve using mini glue dots.  Stamp zig-zag pattern across the Sugar tag in Papaya ink.  Stamp the sentiment on the Sugar tag in Sage ink.  Attach the tag and small knotted piece of Papaya organdy ribbon to the top of each egg using a mini glue dot.

Amuse Studio - Stinkin' Cute!

How cute are these cupcakes?  Another great use for Amuse Studio's Onyx Straws to create the Witch's legs. 

 

Here is the template for the Witch boots.  They were printed on the BACK of a sheet of Onyx cardstock (on the white side) and then cut out!  Using a craft knife, make a small slit in the end of a straw, then slide the cut-out shoe into it.
