Mistletoe Quad

This was the first Quad stencil that I purchased from Taylored Expressions.  They recently came out with a die and Foil Its to coordinate with these stencils.  I made another set of cards with a Christmas theme but I have always loved the samples with the purple berries.  Since I already had them out it was a good time to make a set of cards.  I followed a video that Taylor did and used the same ink colors.
My cards are a bit different than the ones Taylor created in her video but I like how they turned out.  Using the rustic pail die and flipping the mistletoe was such a great idea to make the stencil set more versatile.

TE Garage Sale TODAY!

I was excited to go to the TE Garage Sale this morning.  It was supposed to be outside but the weather moved us inside, which was just as good!  Taylored Expressions knows how to pivot and make it work.
I was there about an hour early so we have time to visit with other TE fans while we waited for 10 am!
Shoppers finding their treasures!
Waiting in line!
Here's my haul from the TE Garage Sale.  I bought a lot of Foil Its, some card stock and a couple of stamps.  FREE tote for the first 100 customers that checked out.

GUS & GERTIE

I made a few cards using the Taylored Expressions Gus & Gertie 4th of July. I'm a little late to send them to anyone but they are ready for next year!

YEAR IN BLOOM

I've been collecting the Taylored Expressions Year in Bloom stamps and buying the coordinating dies.  I decided to stamp, die cut and color a bunch so they are ready to use.
I found a few frames in my collection to use with the flowers.
I used all Taylored Expressions products for this card.  The card base is a Toffee Mini slim.  I die cut the rectangle postage in the colors Pineapple, Tropical Punch and Sweet Champagne.  I used Copic markers to color the flowers.  The background stamp is TE Weathered Words stamped in Sugar Cube ink.

VEGGIES!

The Taylored Expressions Seeds and Such kit has been fun to make a few summer time garden cards.  I stenciled all the veggies and then die cut them out.  I used the TE Knock on Wood background stamp for a simple layer.  In used the TE Frame in Frame 3 for the black stitched border.  It fit perfectly around the seed packet!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I made these cards a while ago to have ready to go for anniversary cards.  I used the Taylored Expressions Summer Nights Layering Stencils.  For the gold I used the Glitter Grab and then gold foil.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expression called Anniversary - The Inside Scoop.

WILD FLOWER STENCIL

I made a postage collage card with my friend, Doreen.  We were both stenciling together, it was more fun with a friend!  We used the Waffle Flower Wild Flower stencil.  I decided to add a birthday sentiment to mine.

TE SUMMER SCHOOL

Last Saturday, I was in Summer School with Taylored Expressions.  We made 4 cards all using foil.  We learned a few fun foiling techniques including double foiling.  Taylored Expressions sent a kit in the mail and then we had a live class with Taylor and Susan.  If you have to go to summer school, this was the best way to go!

PATTERN PLAY

I had fun with the Concord & 9th Pattern Play cover plate & dies.  I die cut the cover plate with an off white heavyweight card stock.  I used Concord & 9th card stock colors in Watermelon, Nectar, Sprout & Pistachio to add a few popped up shapes to the panel.  The Thanks die cut is from Altenew.
Same card design - the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions called Bold Birthday.  I added a few clear dew drops to both cards.  I still have this set on my desk and I'd like to try a few more color combinations.  Maybe something more masculine.

IT'S YOUR SPECIAL DAY

A fun card using the free with purchased flower stamps from Taylored Expressions.  Everything is TE, except for the background cover plate is Fall Flourish from Honey Bee Stamps.  Here is a link to most of the products that I used at Taylored Expressions.

JUST BECAUSE

Another fun card designed by Heather Nichols using the Year in Bloom stamps and dies.  I started by stamping the Large Lattice background on Latte card stock with Sugar Cube ink.  I used the Diamond Stacklets to add the diamond shape in each opening.  The flowers are stamped and die cut - I only used three Copic markers to color the flowers.  YG01, YG25, B0000.  I used the Timeless Greeting sentiment and die.  The gems are Bits & Pieces Glossy White Rhinestones.

HELLO

Everything is Taylored Expressions for this card.  Gosh, another recent release that I couldn't pass up.  I have been collecting all the Year in Bloom flowers and buying the matching dies during 2025.  I pretty much copied Heather Nichols design on this card.  I colored the flowers a bit different but mostly everything else is the same as hers.

Card stock:  Green Tea card base, Kraft layer, Sugar cube, Toffee, Earl Grey
Stamps:  Year in Bloom flowers (January - May) w/matching dies, Large Lattice Background, Timeless Greetings w/matching dies
Ink: Sugar Cube, Mocha for ink blending, VersaFine Clair Nocturne w/clear embossing powder, for the splatter Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White, Stampin' Up Early Espresso ink refill
Other: Vases & Places 2, Frame in Frame 3, Copic Markers (see below), white gems

ENVELOPE SEALS

I wanted to try to match the colors of the envelope seals from the Taylored Expressions Just Write kit.  For the typewriter I used Bleu Cheese, Oatmilk and Onyx.  For the ink bottle and pen I used Green Tea, Oakmilk and Onyx.
I used the TE Talking in Circles Piercing plate for the background on Green Tea card stock.  I used a stitched circle die - then added the woodgrain card stock.  I was happy that I was able to stamp direct on the woodgrain paper.   The little ink bottle and pen are my favorites!
A simple Hello There card to match the envelope seal.

You're My Type...

I tried a few more color combinations with the Taylored Expressions Just Write kit. I have more cards from this collection tomorrow, then I'm cleaning up my desk and working something else!

More JUST WRITE cards....

Here are more cards using the new Taylored Expressions Just Write kit.  I went with the same rustic color scheme since I already had everything all inked up!   Most all of the products are Taylored Expressions.  I added the little leaves on the one typewriter and that was from Flora & Fauna called Woodland Flowers.  The little leaves were already die cut in my storage pocket and seemed to work nicely with that card.
I used Glossy Accents on the typewriter keys.  I got better at it the more I did it.  It's not hard and the little raised bubbles are a cool addition.

JUST WRITE

I wanted to try out my new Just Write kit from Taylored Expressions.  I recently purchased it after a trip to the TE store!  I really hadn't planned on buying it but between seeing samples in person and a little peer pressure it's part of my collection now!  😉  I saw this ink combination online and really liked the rustic look.  There are 3 stencil layers to get you all these images.

Here is the first card that I made - I just love that ink bottle and pen.  The die cut flower is from Spellbinders called Sealed Blooming Stems.  The sentiment is from TE called Inked Expressions.  The ink blot is part of a clear set that is included with the stencils.  I have some more cards in the process on my desk so I will post those tomorrow.

NO SHELF CONTROL!

From the looks of my recent purchases at TE the sentiment is truly meant for me - I HAVE NO SHELF CONTROL!  I bought this fun set while on my shopping spree at TE.  The background is from TE called Arch Deco.  I stamped the background on white and one on grey card stock.  The plants and pots are from Taylored Expressions Let It Grow stencils and dies.  The sentiments are TE Shelf Control with matching dies. I used an embossing folder on three of the cards called Linked by Penny Black.  I'm not sure what category these cards will be filed in but they sure were fun to make!
