Thinking of You

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and I wanted to try it with Amuse Studio stamps.  I masked off an area to stamp a portion of the Script Background on the Lichen card base with  Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I stamped the leaf frond from the Love and Thanks stamp set with Fern ink then drew in the darker veins with a Copic Marker.  The Catalogue tag was die cut with Vanilla card stock and then trimmed.

Amuse Studio Products:     SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps:  Script Background, Graceful Greetings, Love and Thanks (March Collection)
Card Stock:  Lichen Card base, Vanilla
Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa, Fern
Other:  Copic YG95, Card Catalogue Stitched Tag Die

Same basic idea as above but I used the Just a Note sentiment from the Amuse Studio Best Friends Forever stamp set.

We received this anniversary card in the mail from Shari the other day.  I wanted to show some of the details of the coloring that she did - isn't it beautiful?  She used Amuse Studio's Charming Gardeners and also the Script Background to create a lovely card!  Thanks Shari!!

Amuse Studio Autumn Greetings!

Don't you just love the colors of Fall?    I love this collage card by Amuse Studio using a variety of different stamps.

Stamps: Mod BG 1, Script BG, Fresh Foliage (All On Sale during November!)
Cardstock:  Vanilla (Cut 8 1/2" x 6")
Ink:  Wheat, French Roast, Squash
Other:  French Roast Felt, Leaf Trio Dies, 1/4" Super Stick Red tape, Corner Chomper (1/2" side)

Score Vanilla cardstock at 4 1/4" to create the card base.  The finished card measures 4 1/4" x 6".
Stamp the woodgrain image from Mod Backgrounds 1 with Wheat ink, in upper third of the card, just left of center.
Using French Roast Ink, press half the ink pad onto edge of Script background.  Do not worry about even ink coverage for this technique - a little variance adds to the collage look.
Stamp leaf from Fresh Foliage in Squash ink in upper left corner of woodgrain image.  Ink again and stamp in bottom right corner.  Do not re-ink and stamp again in the bottom right area (overlapping text, woodgrain and previously stamped leaf).
Die cut oak leaf from French Roast felt and adhere to card front.  Use super stick tape & add just a bit to the leaf ends to make sure they stay put.
Stamp sentiment with French Roast ink.
Round the corners on right side of the card with 1/2" side of Corner chomper.

ahhnouncing...

I had fun playing with the new stamp set by amuse|studio called ahhnouncing!  I started with a kraft cardbase & added layers of vanilla cardstock stamped with the script background using toffee ink. I used the sponge daubers for inking with french roast & toffee inks.  I also added the scalloped border of french roast woodgrain.  The French Roast twill works well with these colors.

stamps: script background, ahhnouncing
ink: french roast, toffee
cardstock: vanilla, kraft,
french roast woodgrain
other: french roast twill, scallop border die

Sneak Peek #3 New Cardstock...Grapefruit & Titian

Did you hear that Amuse Studio's new catalog is coming out on February 1st?  As a Consultant we have been given an opportunity to Pre-Order a few things from the new catalog.  My order came last week & I have had a little bit of time to play with the new stuff.  Here is a sneak peek at a new Patterned paper that amuse|studio is coming out with in our New Catalog!  This new cardstock is the Venetian Titian Pattern and I'm in love ♥  with this color.  It is sort of a brownish/olive green & it coordinates with so many colors.  I'm using a new solid color cardstock as well called Grapefruit, that will become part of our Winter Palette.
