Hello Snow!

Look what arrived in the mail on Wednesday!  I was so excited to see a package in my mailbox from Shari.  It is always something amazing using Amuse Studio products!  Check this out - it is a little wooden hinged fence decorated with the Flaky Friends snowmen along with the Fall in the Forest critters.  She created a scene with the tree tag die and landscape set.  Thank you Shari for once again being so creative - I love it!

You & Me Stamp Set

This card design idea came from my fellow Amuse Studio Consultant, Judy Palmer.  I thought it was so clever that she put the owl inside the tree and I just had to give it a try.  What a fun card!
Here is another card using the new You & Me stamp set which is part of the Amuse Studio January 2015 Collection.

Cute Critter Cards!

The inspiration for these cards came from my wonderful upline, Kamila.  She made a darling card like this for our recent Team Swap.  She used the reindeer from Not A Creature Was Stirring Stamp set.  I used the fox from the Fall In The Forest stamp set.  All these little critters are so adorable!

Fun little treats for any occasion!

These little candy treats are so cute & fun to make.  You could make them for any Season!  I wrapped the nugget candy with patterned paper on the Santa one but you really can't see it.

Amuse Studio Products:   SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps: Your Choice! Used here were Fall in the Forest, Sugar Skulls, Santa Mail
Cardstock:  Onyx Polka Dot, Sugar, Pumpkin, Saffron, Fiesta Patterned Paper
Ink:  Onyx Versafine, Memento Tuxedo Black, Cherry
Other:  Toffee Twine, Heather Baker's Cording, Onyx Baker's Twine, 1" Square Punch, Thankful for You Die Set, Quickie Glue Pen, Diamond Glitter, Copic Markers

Cut card stock 7" x 1 ½".  Score and fold the card stock strip at 3" and 4".  Use a ruler to measure ½" from the top of the card stock.  Mark in pencil on each side at ½".  Position the 1" square paper punch over the pencil mark and punch the tip of the corner to create two small notches in the card stock.

Wrap your card stock piece around the stacked chocolates/candies and tie it closed with twine or cording or ribbon.  So cute and super simple!

Wicked Amazing!

I received a wonderful package in the mail yesterday from Shari!  I knew it was coming so I was on mailbox alert all day.  Don't you know that my mail wasn't delivered until after 5 pm yesterday?  That was cruel Mr. Postman!

But it was so worth the wait, check out what she made this year!  Every year she amazes me with her creativity.  It is a wood cut out of the numbers 31 on a base piece.  She is a complete Rock Star -  look at all the Amuse Studio Products that she showcased in this first project.  UNBELIEVABLE!

Amuse Studio Fall in the Forest

A few people have asked about how to get the perfect die cut when you are using a stamp with matching dies.  Here is a quick little photo tutorial.

1.  I started out stamping all the images on my card stock.  For the small images I prefer to use Onyx Versafine ink and emboss them with clear embossing powder.  It really helps me when I'm coloring to stay in the lines and I like the sharp black color of the image as well when I emboss them.

2.  I ran the die cuts thru my machine using Kraft card stock to make a template of each image.  I keep the templates in my stamp case for future use.

3.  Position the template over your stamped image and be sure to line it up carefully.  Tape it down securely.

4.  Slip the die into the template opening and tape it again.  Make sure the die is in the opening straight and snugly.

5.  Run it thru your die cut machine.  Perfect results every time!

I had so much fun coloring these darling little critters.  They are from Amuse Studio's Fall In the Forest stamp set coming in the Holiday Catalog on September 1st!  The Fall in the Forest Stamp Set has matching dies which makes this set so much fun and easy to use!  I made a Thinking of You card along with several little fall treats.

Here is a cute water bottle decorated with a little fox from the Fall in the Forest stamp set & a cute orange straw attached to the side with washi tape!  This was sitting on the table during one of our sessions at Amuse Studio National Conference.
