Hello Summer

This was a card we made at the Amuse Studio National Conference.   We prepped the Kraft layer with the static magic pouch and then stamped the Tropical Blooms with Versamark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  We used Creamsicle Dye Ink (coming soon!) and a water brush to lightly add color to the flowers.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of vellum die cut from the Stitched Circles.  I love the soft look of this card - this is an easy technique with great results!

I made this card in May and I thought I would share.  You could easily change the sentiment for your occasion.  I used my Misti tool to ink up the floral border and when I wanted to add color I just inked up the image again and applied another layer of color.  I just love using the MISTI and it really is the Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented.  If you haven't checked it out yet, but sure to watch this video.

Be A Flamingo...

I saw this design in the Amuse Studio June Collection flyer and I couldn't wait to make a few cards.  The feathers are background paper from the Everything's Rosy patterned paper.  I used Copic markers to color in a few areas with gray and then the focal feather with shades of peach.  

Hello Summer

A colorful row of pineapples!  The Amuse Studio June Collection is full of fun things for summer.  I found the pineapple straws while I was out last week, aren't they cute?  They will be great for sipping a refreshing, summer drink!

I'm back with another Flamingo card - I had a few pieces left over on my desk and I figured I should use them up before I move on to something else!  It is basically the same layout I have been hooked on with a few new elements.  I used the pinking edge rectangle from the Tag Bundle die set and did a bit of stamping on the sun.  I'll be using this card for a summer birthday!  

Be Yourself

I can't get enough of this Flamingo!  Another fun card using the Be Yourself die set from the Amuse Studio June collection.  The border at the bottom was a scrap from another card that was laying on my desk.  The colors seemed right so I thought I would use it to ground the flamingo.

Flamingo Cards

I have been playing with the new Amuse Studio Be Yourself dies.   I die cut the flamingo twice, once with Shell card stock and a second time with Onyx or Pebble card stock.  I trimmed the legs off of the Onyx/Pebble die and used the quickie glue pen and put them right on top of the pink legs.  In this case I didn't use any of the stamps from the set, only the dies.  I was pleased with the results.
