It's always a good thing to have guy cards in the stash. I used Unity Stamps called If You Were Whiskey and A Cold One. I had an old paper pack from Papertrey Ink that worked nicely for the manly patterns. Simple stamping - no coloring!

GRADS!
I made a couple of graduation cards. I used a very old Graduation Cap embossing folder for the blue and the black layers. The Sky's the Limit is from Taylored Expressions Foil It cards. You can see the pretty shimmer on the photo below. The Wishing You sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, also a stamp set that I've had in my collection for many years. The graduation cap die is from Taylored Expressions.

TINSEL AND TAGS
This is a very old pack of paper from Papertrey Ink that I pulled out and finally decided to use. Two of the pages are Christmas tags so I die cut them out and made a bunch of fun tags.

BUNCHES OF FUN!
This paper pack is from Papertrey Ink - it is all linen card stock in black & white patterns.
Simple coloring - only on the collar. I was feeling the Fall colors today.
My friend, Doreen recently sent me a stamp set from Stampin' Up called Bunches of Fun. There was a mistake on the set that she purchased so her set was replaced and she gave me the one with the misspelled word. Not a big deal really, so many other stamps to use! I thought this little dog was cute with his cone and would be fun to send to someone for a funny get well card. I was on a roll and decided to make 4 of them!

HAPPY 60th!
I've been making these cards for all the guy birthdays lately using the Avery Elle Everyday Circle Tags + Dies. We have a friend who's turning 60 this year so I thought this was perfect!

I wanted a fun inside as well and this worked out nicely. Thankfully I have a binder of all my stamps and was able to find this combination. I like it!

CONGRATS!
I started with the Park Lane Dot Embossing Folder. I just love these lined up circles. I used the baby onesie die from Papertrey Ink and stamped tiny congrats on it. The sentiment is from Colorado Craft. I added the little white heart ♡ for the final touch. Congrats to my friend, Doreen for becoming a Grandma to Sadie Marie!

REST, RELAX, RECOVER
I used the Studio Light Wonderful Autumn die set to cut out three fronds - each one a different shade of green. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them but decided to make three small 4 bar sized get well cards. I used the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangles for the layer. I glued the greenery to the layer and then stamped the sentiments from Papertrey Ink & Ellen Hutson. I was lucky to find a set of notecards in my stash including the kraft envelopes.
The leaf has such pretty details. Quick & easy!

BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS!
On this card, I used the Papertrey Ink Linen Embossing Plate after I had all the coloring done. It adds a nice texture to the white space.
I keep coming back to this stamp, I really really love it. Honey Bee Pretty Postage. The blessings word & die cut is Honey Bee Pickup Lines & the stamped Birthday is from Hero Arts Congrats Happy. I saw this color combination online & probably would have never thought to color the leaves blue, pink & gray, it's so pretty! I used the Wonky Stitched rectangles from My Favorite Things & layered it onto a Fog card base.

GET WELL CARDS
I found this package of rub-on transfers at the Dollar Tree recently. Are rub-ons making a come back? I wasn't sure if they would be great or not, but I really like them and I was able to make several cards. If you make a stop at Dollar Tree be sure to check them out! I was in need of Get Well cards so I decided that was going to be the theme for using these rub-ons.
I used these sentiments from Papertrey Ink Get Well Soon for my cards.

BIRTHDAY BALLOON SHAKER
I was watching this Laura Bassen video the other day and decided I had similar supplies to make this cute balloon shaker card. I used the Taylored Expression Up Up & Away cutting plate. I die cut the balloons out of various colors of card stock & did a little ink shading on the balloons (like Laura did 😉) The birthday sentiments are from MFT and Papertrey Ink. I added clear sequins for the shaker ingredients. This was fun to make so I made another one!

OH BABY!
We have two nieces expecting their first babies in December. The drive-thru shower was yesterday but I wasn't able to attend. I mailed their gifts and of course had to make a couple of cute cards to match! Since neither of them have told us what they are having I went with a gray/black color theme. The stamp & die is Papertrey Ink Bitty Baby Blessings - it's an oldie but a goodie! I ran my paper thru the printer first and personalized the onesies, then stamped the image over top of the printing. The background papers were just soft gray and worked out great as an accent to the solid image.
Bitty Blessing - sure is!
Funny story - my sister in law sent me a picture of her shower gift and low & behold we had both bought the Oh Baby Welcome to the World letter boards. We decided to compromise and we would each give one so that they don't have two of them. Great minds - huh, Laura?

WELCOME HOME!
My friend, Dona just brought home two Schnauzer puppies and I couldn't be happier for her. Good thing I had this Simon Says Stamp dog die cut so that I could make her a card! I found a small circle die in my stash to personalize their dog tags - Duke & Ernie! They are the cutest pups - on this card and in real life!
Ready to go in the mail!

HAPPY FOR YOU!
An oldie but goodie - This is a Papertrey Ink Enjoy the Ride stamp set & die. I found the logo online for the college where the grad is attending. I printed it out on my computer and then stamped the car over top of the image. The swirly stamp is from Hero Arts.

BIRTHDAY WISHES
This little wrapped bouquet idea had me searching thru my stamps to see if I had more that I could use. This time the wrap is a bit smaller to accommodate the smaller bouquet. This floral stamp is called Wildflower Bouquet from Taylored Expressions. I used the same Taylored Expressions Many Mini's tag die with Papertrey Ink Mixed Messages.

BIRTHDAY GNOME
I needed a card for my sister-in-law and I had this card in my stash. I couldn't resist adding the mask in light of what our world is dealing with right now. I hope it gives her a laugh!
Here are the details of the card from when I first created it several years ago!
I used the Amuse Studio Card Catalogue Die to make a window in the white card stock layer. The sunburst pattern is from the Everything's Rosy paper pack. It worked out to be the perfect background.
Amuse Studio Products:
Stamps: Gnome Other, Grow (Happy Birthday Sentiment)
Card stock: Slate A2 Card base, Onyx, Sugar, Everything's Rosy Patterned Paper
Ink: Onyx Versafine, VersaMark
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Gnome Other Die Set, Card Catalogue Die, Copic Markers, Papertrey Ink Linen Impression Plate, Fun Foam, 3D adhesive

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS
This design came from a pack of 4 ½ x 5 ½ papers from Papertrey Ink called Black & White All Over. The paper is a linen texture. I used Copic markers to color the balloons with various shades of coral/pink/red. I added the sentiment and then used the Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to add glimmer to the balloons.

MONDO FALL DAISY
I'm still obsessed with this Mondo Gerbera Daisy stamp from Essentials by Ellen. I used Copic Markers to color it in a few shades of orange. I die cut three of the flowers with black card stock to give this beauty some dimension. It saves on foam tape and I love that it covers the entire area with no sagging!
The orange daisy pops on the the black cut from the Stripes Horizontal cover plate from Papertrey Ink. I also sprayed a bit of gold shimmer on the flower which has a beautiful sheen. I used an old school rub-on for the happy birthday greeting. Happy Birthday Susan!
