Wreath Builder

I finally had time to play with this kit from Gina K. Designs.  This popular kit contains the Wreath Builder stamp sets along with two Wreath Builder templates.  You use the plastic templates with the Wreath Builder stamps to create beautiful wreath designs.  Here is a link to the StampTV video so you can see the magic for yourself!

Here is what is included in the Wreath Builder kit.  There is another option with the stamps & templates only.

I created this card with the Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder stamps & template.  It is super easy and fun to create with this kit.  I have lots of stamps in my collection that I could use with this technique.  The Birthday Wishes sentiment is from the Altenew Floral Frame stamp set.

Lesson Learned...

This card & photo was totally inspired by Cathy Z.  I CASE'd her card and even followed her photo layout!  I love her sense of humor on her Insta-stories and You Tube videos. Anyway, I saw a card on her blog and even though I didn't have the exact same floral stamp, this set Avery Elle Mother's Day worked just great!  Sometimes when you see a card you get all crazy and start filling an online shopping cart and then you realize you have something that would work just as well.  One of the things that I can't do without now that I have it all set up is my stamp binders.  Read my post about my stamp binders HERE.  I have every stamp that I own in these binders by category so that if I'm looking for a sentiment or a specific size or type of stamp, I can page thru one of the three binders.  It was a TON of work and took me hours upon hours to complete, but now that I have it, I use it all.the.time!  I highly recommend doing it - do you remember all the sentiments that you have in every stamp set that you own?  Neither do I, but I can easily go thru my binders and find things that I didn't even realize that I had in my collection.  It's been a wonderful reference tool in my ever growing collection!
I stamped on the rough side of the Tim Holtz water color paper with Onyx Versafine ink & clear embossed the image.  I used Zig Marker colors - Mid Green, Light Carmine & Carmine Red along with a water brush.  I did color a few leaves with Copics YG01 & YG03 since there was a lot of greenery on this floral stamp.
This Happy Birthday die was tucked away in a container in my stamp room.  When my friend, Doreen visited last Fall she brought the die with her & I die cut several of them to use later.  It was the perfect size and I love the look of the stacked birthday greeting.  I did add one leaf & a few berries from another stamp set (Avery Elle Holiday Bouquet) that I tucked in under the main floral image.  I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and berries but the picture doesn't really show the shimmery shine!  I love this card and thank you to Cathy Z. for the inspiration.  Her clean & simple designs are right up my alley!

Happy Happy Happy

There are a couple of stamp sets that I have been wanting to use.  I decided to pull out my Catherine Pooler inks for a fun variety of colors.  The two stamp sets I used are Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy with Dies & the Concord & 9th Background Blocks.
I really love the look of the happy dies that coordinate with the stamped happy words.

Cosmo Bella

I colored these Cosmo Bellas a while back & thought I should take the next step and make them into cards!  I had a couple of patterned paper pads that a sweet friend sent me for my birthday and they just seemed to be perfectly matched with my Bellas that I already had colored.  Don't you love it when that happens?
I used a super simple layout and a fun sentiment!

Yes, please to that cocktail!

Eclipse Cards!

This is the final eclipse card using the MFT Big Birthday die.  I received this beautiful paper pad in the mail for my birthday and it was the perfect pattern for this technique.  The 6x6 paper pad is Recollections Backyard Table.  So pretty!
All three cards using the new word dies!

Thank You Card

Today I used the My Favorite Things Big Thanks die for my card.  This is another Concord & 9th tintable background that I colored with Twisted Citron Oxide ink.  The sweet friend sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Heart-2-Heart #4 stamp set.

Happy Mail makes me Happy!

I couldn't help but to post all my hand made birthday cards that came in the mail.  Thank you to all my stamping friends that took the time to create a card for me!  I loved all the happy mail :)

Sending LOVE

I have been wanting to try this Eclipse technique that has been popular in the card making world.  I bought three different word dies that I thought I would use most often... LOVE, THANKS & HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  First up - LOVE!  The MFT Huge Love die was used on my card.  The word sending came from Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy stamp set.

I have these cool watercolor cards from Concord & 9th called Everyday Tintables.  They are white embossed watercolor cards that you can add color to however you like. I used a wide bristle paintbrush dipped in water and Worn Lipstick Oxide ink to create the pink background over top of the polka dots.

16 watercolor card fronts with 4 pre-printed white designs* on them (4 each of 4 designs) which allow you to create cards with ink resist techniques, minus the heat embossing fuss!  Card fronts are sized at 4 3/4" x 6" so that you can tape down the edges while you watercolor to prevent the paper from curling. Once dry, trim down to desired sizes for fun backgrounds, or the focal point, on your cards!

Floral Thank You

This thank you card was inspired by Cathy Z.  Watch her video here.  I used the Altenew Floral Frame stamp & die set for my card.  I colored the floral image with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.  The small thanks die is from Taylored Expressions that I was given at one of Taylor's events. I embossed the grey card panel with the Papertrey Ink Linen Impression plate.

Birthday Balloons!

I had time over the weekend (since Spring has not yet arrived!) to play with the new Taylored Expressions Cutting Edge Balloons stamp set & dies.  I used a variety of sentiments to complete these fun cards!
