SWEETHEART BLOOMS

This was one of the things from the Taylored Expressions Second Chance Release that I was excited about.  I already had the Sweetheart Blooms layering stencils as a free gift with purchase from a few months ago.  This die is a nice addition to add more detail to the heart.  I ran the die cut through first and then did the stenciling over the top.  They turned out so pretty - I'll get them made into cards soon!  

 

DAY 2 - TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS COMBO CLUB QUAD

Different colors, same Taylored Expressions Combo Club Quad as yesterday.  The colors on the streamers reminded me of Halloween so I went with it.  I only foiled the tree card with Pewter foil on those darker leaves.  All the other cards I decided to leave the black showing - I liked the look!

DAY 1 - CARDS FROM THE COMBO CLUB QUAD

My completed cards from the Taylored Expressions new Combo Club Quad.  I did gold foil all of these for a pretty shine!  Three birthday cards and one sympathy card.  I liked how they turned out.  

FOR EVERY OCCASION CREATE-IN-QUADS

I had some time to play with the new Taylored Expresssions Combo club Quad over the weekend.  Here is my first go at stenciling each quad.  I somewhat followed a color combo that was recommended with the Quad.  I decided to do more traditional colors on the tree.  The Combo Club Quad is called For Every Occasion.  Stay tuned for the cards I plan to make out of these four panels. 

WOODLAND BLOOMS

I'm using a favorite of mine for a few more cards.  The Woodland Blooms by Taylored Expressions is always a good thing!  This time I stenciled the color onto the Foil It's.  The card on the right I used the Woodland Blooms die and cut out the floral spray using the Garden Trellis embossing folder in the background.  The card on the left I used the Quilted Cutting plate after I had done the stenciling.  The sentiments are from the same stamp set.  

SECOND BLOOM DAY 2

More of these beautiful Second Bloom cards.  The same design with different sentiments.  I used Taylored Expressions Papaya & Persimmon ink for the pink flowers.  

 

WOODLAND BLOOMS

I was inspired by a fellow crafter on the Fans of Taylored Expressions Facebook page.  She had made cards with this Woodland Blooms stamp/stencil combo.  It's always been a favorite of mine. I took a picture of all the ink colors - so many pretty combinations.   

I used the new Quilted cover plate from Taylored Expressions over top of the stenciled panels.  I used a combination of sentiments and layering dies.  They are so pretty!  

TIMELESS BLOOMS IN YELLOW

I used the Foil Its on this set of cards but I did not foil.  I really liked how the black looked so I just left them as is, except for one panel, I foiled with Gold. 

I used the Taylored Expressions Quilted cover plate after I had them stenciled and cut to size.  I have one more panel that I didn't make into a card yet. 

PRETTY FLORALS

I stamped & stenciled all these floral cards and then ran them thru with a cover plate on them to give them more texture.  The stamp/stencils are Bitty Bouquets and Bonus Blooms 1.  The sentiment set is Together in Type from Taylored Expressions.  My new favorite!  

TIMELESS BLOOMS ON WOODGRAIN CARDSTOCK

Taylored Expressions Create in Quad Timeless Blooms stencils are on my desk a lot lately.  This time I stenciled on white woodgrain paper.  I saw this idea online and wanted to try it.  It gives it such a nice texture.  It was fun to blend each layer, I used all Taylored Expressions inks.  

A bit of white splatter on a couple of the panels.  

A variety of finishes on these cards.  I used a few different frames and sentiments.  I really like the woodgrain texture for the stenciled flowers. 

And there are these pretty envelope seals that you can get to coordinate with the Timeless Blooms.  So pretty!

 

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I used the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Envelope Die and matching stencils.  I added enamel hearts to each envelope flap and a sentiment strip.   

BIRTHDAY WISHES

After organizing my Foil Its recently, I decided I have so many that I needed to start using more of them.  This was one is called Boho Botanicals.  I foiled first with gold foil and then did the stenciling.  Ink colors that I used were all Taylored Expressions as follows:  For the Flowers, I used Guava with Mulled Wine shading, Sweet Corn with Honey shading, Candy Corn with Pumpkin shading and the leaves are Kiwi and Sweet Basil.  I used the new cover plate die called Quilted Cutting plate for the stitched background.  And my new favorite sentiment set called Together in Type stamp & die combo.  I used the Foil It sentiments and then die cut them.  I love the mixed fonts on these sentiments! 

I love cutting plates, I use them all the time.  They add texture to any project.

 

FOILING DAY!

I took my own advice!  I pulled out several different Foil Its and decided to turn on the Mini Minc and get to foiling!  I had fun stenciling many of these pretty designs and now they are ready to make into cards!

MORE ANNIVERSARY CARDS

This was a new Taylored Expressions gift with purchase during the month of January.  It's a layered stencil set called Sweetheart Blooms.  I followed a video by Heather Nichols for the ink colors.  Both the pinks and reds were very pretty on the Toffee card stock.  I decided to make all the cards for anniversary - I'll have a few in my stash when I need them.  

TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS INK COLORS:  

Traditional colors more Red:  Guava, Cherry Pop, Mulled Wine

Pink colors:  Bubblegum, Lollipop, Dragonfruit

Green for leaves:  Green Tea with Brussel Sprouts for shading, Lime Zest with Sweet Basil for shading

BIG POINSETTIAS

I love these big poinsettia cards.  The Combo is from Concord & 9th Kristina Werner's Winter Greenery stamp, stencils and dies.  

 

FALLING FOR YOU!

I followed along with the Taylored Expressions video with Susan Block to make the Falling for You Triple Slim.  I had all the supplies to do it so figured it was a good time to make a birthday card for a friend's fall birthday in October.  Happy Birthday Doreen!

Here are the other two cards that I made with the Triple Slim Falling for You.  You can't see the pretty foiling but it adds so much!

UP FOR A CELEBRATION

Here are a few more birthday cards using the Taylored Expressions Up for a Celebration layering stencil, Foil Its and coordinating die.  I have a card ready for my niece who turns 11 later this month.  I used two different embossing folders for the backgrounds including Tiny Twinkles and Shoutout Birthday.  

 

QUILT SQUARES

I've been excited to ink up this Taylored Expressions Quilt Squares layering stencil.  I followed a video that Taylor did on You tube.  I do love the Fall colors.  

I turned the Quilt Squares into six cards.  I haven't added the sentiments yet - I may just wait until I'm ready to use the card to add the greeting.  

UP FOR A CELEBRATION!

This is a fun new set from Taylored Expressions to celebrate their 17th Birthday!  This balloon set will make lots of birthday cards!  I like this soft color combination.  I started with the Foil It and then stenciled the color onto the design.  After stenciling the ink I ran it through my Minc machine to add the foiled shimmer!  I had a few spots where it over-foiled, and I think it was because the ink was still a bit wet.  I did a test on another foil it that I had inked up but I didn't foil until the next day and I didn't have this issue.  It really didn't bother me, just adds a little more shimmer!

Foiled Mistletoe Quad

I used the new Taylored Expressions Mistletoe Quad Foil Its with coordinating dies to make these cards.  I used Champagne foil for the Mistletoe and also for the sentiments.  I used the TE Tiny Twinkles Embossing Folder and the Berry Branch die.  The sentiments are also from Taylored Expressions.
