Think Spring

This card makes me think Spring!  This was a quick card with only the sentiment being stamped.  The patterned paper from Everything's Rosy is the focal point with one rose being cut out & embellished with a bit of glitter then popped up for added detail & dimension.  So pretty!

Card stock:  Blush Card Base, Wasabi, Sugar, Everything's Rosy Patterned Paper

Ink:  Fern

Other:  Quickie Glue Pen, Diamond Glitter, Toffee Twine, 3D Foam Adhesive, Detail Scissors

Blush card stock 8 ½" x 4 ¼", scored at left

Wasabi card stock 3 ¼" x 3 ¼"

Sugar card stock 2" x ½"

Rose patterned paper 3"x 3"

Small rose patterned paper scrap for rose cut-out

Score the Blush card stock at 4 ¼" to make a square card base.  Stamp the sentiment on the small strip of Sugar card stock in Fern ink.  

Cut one rose image from the patterned paper scraps using detail scissors.  Embellish the petals of the rose cut out using a quickie glue pen and adding Diamond Glitter.  

Adhere the patterned paper background to the Wasabi layer.  Adhere the glittered rose cut out with 3D foam adhesive to the patterned paper background.  

Adhere the Sugar strip to patterned paper background using 3D foam adhesive. Wrap the Toffee twine around the layers under the sentiment.  Adhere the layers to the card base.
