Speckled Eggs!

I just love the speckled eggs that were colored using Splash ink and a water brush.

Stamps:  You're Too Kind, Essential Sentiments Too
Card stock:  Wasabi Card base, Sugar, Grapefruit
Ink:  Onyx Versafine, Grapefruit Splash, Papaya Splash
Other:  Toffee Twine, Halloween Washi assortment, Happy Word Die, Corner Chomper, Waterbrush

Wasabi Card stock 7" x 5" scored at top
Sugar Card stock 3" x 4 ½"
Grapefruit card stock 1 ½" x 3 ½" for happy die cut

Score Wasabi card stock at 3 ½" to make a 4 bar card base.  Stamp egg image across the bottom of the Sugar layer in Onyx Versafine ink.  Use a water brush to paint in the eggs using a small amount of Grapefruit and Papaya Splash!  Allow to dry.  

Cover half of the sentiment with a piece of washi tape to cover "happy".  Ink up the stamp with Onyx Versafine, remove the washi tape strip and stamp "Easter" on the Sugar layer.  

Die cut "happy" from the Grapefruit card stock.  Adhere the die cut to the Sugar card stock above the word "Easter".

Round all four corners of the Sugar card stock layer using the ¼" side of the corner chopper.  Place a strip of green stripe washi tape along the bottom of the Wasabi card base.  

Adhere Sugar layer to card base.  Tie Toffee twine around the top of the card.
