Awesome Gift!!

Isn't this presentation/packaging so sweet?!!! Don't you love the pretty bow she made out of Amuse Studio card stock strips?  My friend, Shari sent this to me for Valentine's Day.  And wait until you see how pretty & useful it is going to be for my die cut letters!
Shari decorated each of the plastic containers so that I can organize my Amuse Studio Tall Alphabet and Even Taller Alphabet die cut letters.  Isn't that genius?   There are a couple of letters that are doubled up since there are 24 containers.
THANKS Shari!

And so the sorting begins….

Shari bought the storage containers at Meijer in Ohio.  I was able to find the storage container on Amazon if any of you are interested in organizing your die cut letters & numbers.  This is going to save me so much time when I'm ready to spell out something for a project.  I had previously organized everything by color and then would have to sort thru to see if I could find the letters I needed.  I love having everything in its place!

Amuse Studio Mardi Gras Mask Card

A clever idea to use the Geek Is the New Chic Dies and turn it into a Mardi Gras Mask!  The die cut glasses on the top row far right is the one that was used for this card.
Geek is the New Chic Die Set  Item #TAD0051

Amuse Studio Supplies:      SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps:  Sunset Beach, First In My Book

Cutting Instructions:

Card base:  Sugar 5"x7" scored at top

Sugar 4 ½" x 3"
Wasabi ½" x 5"
Grape 1 ½" x 2 ½" (for die cut)

Ombre Amuse Studio Thanks

I'm loving Amuse Studio's new Word Dies that are coming March 1st.  This time I used the thanks words and I wanted to give the word an Ombre effect.  I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt!  I ran two extra die cuts of the thanks words thru my die cut machine and glued them together to give the words a bit of dimension.  I love that look!  I added a few yellow twinkles and you have a super simple thank you card ready to go!
I ran the thanks die thru my die cut machine.  The card stock tends to stick in the metal die so I removed it from the die and then placed it back in position as shown.   I have 3 colors of Copic Markers Y08, Y35, Y38

I love that you can be sort of messy with this and you don't have to worry about tearing or bending the delicate die cut.  I started at the top with the lightest color and worked my way down.  I did go back to blend the colors a bit.

And I used some paper from our new Everything's Rosy 6 x 6 patterned paper available on March 1st.  I love the sunburst pattern.

Valentine Tags!

Sparkly elegant tags!  I saw this idea somewhere on the internet.  I believe it was one of those nights where I had my IPad on my lap and I was cruising around the web while watching The Bachelor or some such thing.  I held my finger on the image and saved it and I when I was looking at photos for ideas I had no idea where to give the credit.  I wish that the images would some how link back to the source.  Well, I used all Amuse Studio products and added a little bling to the clothespins so it wasn't a complete CASE!

Amuse Studio Happy Word Die

Amuse Studio's happy word die coming March 1st!

Item #TAD0077  $5.99
 2 ⅞" x 1 ¼"

I have noticed that a lot of people that own the Silhouette die cut their words with white card stock and then color them with Copic markers when they are ready to use them.  I thought it would work just as well with die cuts.  This is a nice way to coordinate colors and it makes it easy to have them on hand when you are ready to use them.  I die cut the word happy with Amuse Studio's Sugar card stock and then used R29 Lipstick Red to color the words.

I also colored the Amuse Studio Vanilla twill ribbon with Lipstick Red Copic Marker.

Stamps:  Sweet Celebrations
Card stock:  Sugar, Everything's Rosy 6x6 Patterned Paper
Ink:  Onyx Versafine

This word die is the perfect size for card making!
Item #TAD0078  $5.99
2 ½" x 1"
My card inspiration came from Laurie Willison at Soapbox Creations.   I used the new Amuse Studio hello word die along with a variety of papers.

I glued together four die cuts of the word hello to give it some dimension.   The quickie glue pen worked very nicely for this technique.
