Pieced Patterns

I wanted to try one of the Taylored Expressions Maps.  This is the Pieced Pattern Mini Slim version.  I used my TE card stock swatch ring to determine the colors.  I chose purple because I have someone in mind that loves purple!  

This looks like a mess! ha!  I roughly laid out the pattern so that I could see if I like the color design.  I took a picture of it so that I could follow the pattern.  I used tape runner on the "map" and then started putting the various die cut triangles and squares into place.  

I ran the panel through the Taylored Expressions Crossroads Cutting Plate.  It looks like quilting, so cool!  After I cut the panel to size, I added a thin border and used foam strips to attach the panel to the white card base.  I have to decide on the sentiment.  

I kept the sentiment simple because I didn't want to cover up the pretty design!
