PEACE & JOY

Peace & Joy to you!  I made this card years ago but I just love the simplicity.  I believe it was inspired by Laurie Willison at Soapbox Creations.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Handwritten Holiday.  The leaves & berries & extras are from My Favorite Things In Bloom.  The little asterisks are My Favorite Things called Handlettered Holiday.  I used a woodgrain embossing folder on the brown border - you can't see it in this picture.
For this card, I started with a layer of Amuse Studio Pinstripe card stock.  It's a nice way to avoid so much white space & you can stamp on the pinstripe without it overtaking the image.  The bold Merry Christmas Greeting is from My Favorite Things.

THE CHUCKIE

I picked up these cookie presses at Home Goods to repurpose them into a stamping tool!  If you watch Gina K she uses what she calls the "Chuckie" to add even pressure when using the Misti to stamp.  I removed the rubber cookie press part and added a piece of felt to the bottom.  I'm hoping Shari & Laura will enjoy this new tool in their stamp rooms!  That is if their Christmas packages ever arrive to them from the US Postal Service?!  📬
After removing the cookie press, I just attached the felt to the bottom so that it will glide over the Misti.  This is especially helpful for large backgrounds or intricate stamps where you need more intense & even pressure.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I ordered this Nativity border die from Taylored Expressions and I really wanted to make some Christmas cards to send this year.  I started out with a banner die from Amuse Studio to make it look like a manger.
I spritzed the white card stock with gold & pearl shimmer spray.  The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.
This next set of cards, I sprayed the gold shimmer on the black card stock to make it look like a night sky.  I love how this turned out.
Can you see the shimmery sky?  So pretty!
The background paper is from Taylored Expressions.  I had fun making all of these cards with a few changes each time.  I think they all turned out nice.

ANOTHER 2021 CALENDAR

Here is another Concord & 9th calendar that I put together.  This one took way more time because I did Copic coloring on all of the floral images.  I used the Concord & 9th Annuals stamp set.  The flowers and the month images are included in the set.  The November fall swag came from Avery Elle Cloche stamp set.

I used Copic markers and a few Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.

2021 CALENDAR

I was excited to make a 2021 Concord & 9th Calendar!  The calendar size is 3 ½" x 6".  I used the Concord & 9th Buds & Blossoms stamp set to stamp all the floral images on the calendar pages.  I used the Concord & 9th Month by Month dies & die cut each month out of black card stock.  It was pretty simple stamping so I was able to get this calendar done fairly quick.  It was a bit of a challenge to come up with different combinations for each month.

Ink Colors:
Stamp Market Citrine, Catherine Pooler Mint to Be, Stamp Market Coral Reef, Pinkfresh Studio Peach Fuzz & Berrylicious, Onyx Versafine

SPARKLE WHEREVER YOU GO

I made this card earlier in the year.  This is the perfect greeting for your girlfriends this Christmas!  The stamp is called All That Sparkle by Unity Stamps.  I lined the envelope to really jazz things up!

RAINBOW STRIPES!

Totally inspired by Laura Basson with this row of houses with the rainbow stripes background!  I used the Taylored Expressions Neighborhood Border die.  The sentiment is from Simon Says - pre-printed black sentiments with white lettering.  These sure come in handy when you don't want to take the time to white emboss on black card stock.  They have a variety of themes for the sentiments.

PEACE ON EARTH

These cards were inspired by Heather Nichols using all Taylored Expressions stamps.  I love the rustic look of these cards.  The Twiggy Background framed out the design nicely.   I white embossed the sentiment from Handlettered Holiday.  I did add a small red star sticker below the sentiment.

HAWKEYE BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to our favorite Hawkeye!  I created this card with Hawkeye colors in mind.  I started with a Numbers embossing folder on black card stock.  The beer mug is from Tim Holtz Beer Blueprint and the Cheers die is from My Favorite Things.

MERRY

I have been enjoying the glow of the Christmas tree lights this holiday season, especially in the early morning hours before it gets light outside.  I bought a set of 4 Rae Dunn ornaments last year after Christmas.  I was excited to put them on the tree this year!  I hope things are MERRY at your house!  🎄

MAKE A WISH

I made a fun mini slimline card with the cute Taylored Expressions Gus & Gertie stamp set.  The background stamp is from Pinkfresh Studio called Diamond Tiles.  The slimline cards are all the rage these days, but I prefer the mini-slim that Taylored Expressions carries.  The size is more manageable for me, without having to fill such a big space.  The stitched rectangle and scallop layer are Taylored Expressions.  The card measures 3 1/2" x 6" and Taylored Expressions sells the envelopes to fit this mini-slim!

WITH SYMPATHY

Unfortunately, I needed to replenish my supply of sympathy cards.  I seem to be using them more often.  I started by selecting some of my favorite embossing folders.  I used white or cream card stock to get them embossed.  Then I pulled out sympathy words in both stamps and strips.
Here you can see the embossing a bit better.

This one is my favorite - I love the embossing and the beautiful stamped words.

These sentiment strips are from Simon Says Stamp.  You get a 4x6 of various sentiments and you just cut them into strips and they are ready to add to your cards.

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

I have this Christmas decor on a shelf in my stamp room.  I love the black & white - ooh and that one tiny green bristle tree. 🌲  The letter board is always fun to decorate - this idea was from my niece, I think she saw it online somewhere.  How clever, huh?  The house is from the Target Hot Spot and the calendar was a free download from Damask Love.  I'm hoping she'll offer the calendars for 2021 too!
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

CALENDAR EASEL CARDS

I've been anxious to try making this easel calendar.  My sister-in-law, Laura gave me one last year for Christmas.  I used it all year and decided I wanted to make a few.  Laura sent me the directions so I was all set for a fun project.   I plan to give one to my Mom and one I will keep in my stamp room for me.  They are the perfect size for mailing - the same size as an A2 greeting card.
I searched thru my extensive collection of 6x6 paper pads and decided to use this Carta Bella Flora patterned paper for the decorative parts.  For the base of the calendars I used heavy weight card stock that matched the colors in the floral pattern.  The tear away calendars are from Taylored Expressions.
