Spring Flowers!

A couple of new things I have been dying to try out.  A Little Argyle Set by Papertrey Ink & Spring Zinnia by Savvy Stamps.  Pretty simple, but I was pleased with the results.

I'm trying to get more creative with my photography - how about this one?

Oh What A Deal!

I was at Michael's the other day & happened upon this bargain of bargains.  This die cut alphabet set was originally $79.99 & was marked down to $14.99 and I had a coupon for another 20% off making it a super duper deal at $12.00!

I don't know if I will use an alphabet set of die cuts very often but I thought this was most definitely worth having in my stash!!  It is a nice font & it has upper & lower case letters with numbers included.

Happy Birthday Sista!

Happy Birthday to my friend, Dona!  We met each other because of our love of rubber stamping so she truly is my Stamping Sista!  I hope you have a great day!

I stamped the Hero Arts Poppy Background with Brown Memento Ink on white cardstock.  I colored in the poppy flowers with Copic Markers.  I added a layer of brown & red & attached it to a white card with dimensional dots.  I did a few rows of Swiss Dots embossing on the bottom part of the card.  The Happy Birthday words are by AMuse & I used my Word Window punch by Stampin' UP.  On the envelope I used Pretty Poppies rub-ons by Autumn Leaves that I had in my stash.

Hey Girlfriend ~

These are cards I made for an order for a friend.  She went through her list of friends that she sends cards to & we talked about specifics, like their hair color & favorite colors.  She picked each card with a certain special friend in mind!  It was fun making them!

Stamps Used:  Presentabella, Cakeabella, Huggybella, Cosmobella, Sweetybella and Beachabella all these are by Stamping Bella.  The bottom row stamps are by My Favorite Things - Say Charge & Think Pink.

A favorite!

I stamped the Bird in a Cage by Hero Arts on Biscotti patterned paper in brown ink.  I added the Cappa Flourish by Memory Box in brown ink to the top & bottom of the card.  I used an AMuse square card & added some ribbon.

Many Thanks!

I made a Thank You card like this for a friend & then she asked that I make more for her daughter to give to some teachers.  I did a variety of colors for male or female teachers.  They were fun to make & fairly quick.  I have a die cut that does the swirly frame & just stamped the Thank You words inside on the patterned paper.  I also stamped Thanks So Much on all the envelopes.

Die Cut is by QuicKutz called Frame REV-0090.

Martha Martha Martha

Martha Stewart Zinnia Stickers - aren't they beautiful??

I put the Zinnia sticker over top of the topiary - I'm not sure that I love it but I thought it was sort of fun!

Thank You Topiary!

I used this as a Thank You card.  The background is by Hero Arts called Swirl Frame.  I stamped it on kraft cardstock with white ink.  The Branchy Topiary is by Memory Box.  I stamped it in Dark Brown Chalk Ink.  I stamped the pot on patterned paper & attached it over top of the stamped image.  I found the smallest of rub-ons to put that border across the top of the pot.  I used Sage Flower Soft & added a couple of pearl gems.

Baby Gift

The project starts - Bitty Baby Blessing by Papertrey Ink is a great baby stamp set.  The onesies were stamped on patterned paper called Everyday Blessings.  Then I cut out all the onesies....

I attached the onesies to a white square of paper & added a border - either Aqua Mist or Spring Moss.  Now I'm deciding what ribbon to use & how I want to complete the cards...

I decided to use this Cuttlebug Embossing Baby Folder on all the card fronts.

I made a set of 10 notecards for the new Mom to use for Thank You cards.  I decided not to use ribbon on the cards to make them easier to mail.

I stamped a little set of booties on the envelopes

Up close & personal....

I made a box out of cardstock & patterned paper to hold the set of cards that I will be giving for a gift.  I followed this tutorial video on You Tube. It was pretty simple & requires only one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock plus another piece of paper for the flap.

Now I'm searching for the perfect onsie to match my cards to complete the gift.  Wish me luck on that one!
I did manage to find some cute bibs & onsies to coordinate with the cards that I made - the gift is almost ready to mail!!

Cuttlebug Crazy!

I took my Cuttlebug machine home at Easter to give my sister in law, Laura a  demonstration.  She loved the embossing folders & within days after I left she was the proud owner of her very own little Cuttlebug!  She has been Cuttlebugging up a storm ever since & look at the darling card she sent me for my Birthday.  I'm happy to pass my addiction along to anyone that will bite!!  ha!

I found this card in my stash & it is perfect for my sister in laws birthday.  The stamp is by My Favorite Things called Hot Stuff.  The words are Happy Birthday Mix by AMuse.

Sweetybella!

My Sister in Law, Laura gave me this stamp last year for my birthday.  Aren't they cute?  Two girlfriends sitting on the bench having an ice cream break from their shopping!!  I have a friend here that came over yesterday & placed an order for some cards for various friends of hers.  This is the first one in her order - - - most of them that she requested are Bella cards so I will have more to post as I get them done.  Sweetybella by Stamping Bellas

Lots of coloring!!

No Card Today!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to put a card on the blog today.  My friend, Susan came over & we were busy painting the den/office.  It looks so fresh & I love the color we chose.  Sherwin Williams Latte is a good color!!

A cute card for a little girl

I used the AMuse Girl & found the perfect balloon rub-on to put in her hand.  I stamped an oval background at her feet.  The card is Kitchen Dots by AMuse.  The punch for the scallop border is by Martha Stewart.

Pink & Brown so cute for a little baby girl card.  The stamps are by AMuse Art Stamps.  The pink gingham paper is by AMuse as well.  I used an embossing folder with dots on the paper.  The paisley paper & ribbon is something I had in my stash.

Topiary & Flower Soft!

I have been loving the new Branch Topiary stamp by Memory Box.  I stamped the topiary with Dark Brown Chalk Ink on various background papers.  I also used the Papertrey White Silk Ribbon & colored the ribbon with my Copics to match each color scheme.

The Ultra Fine Flower Soft in Sage adds a nice effect.

Happy Easter!

Easter Egg stickers by Martha Stewart - aren't they pretty pastels?

The card base is New Leaf cardstock by Papertrey Ink.  I used the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder to do the white background.  The grass was done with the Martha Stewart border grass punch.  Pretty fun to make & no stamping except for the Happy Easter sentiment inside the card.

This is the grass border punch by Martha Stewart.  I like that it folds up on the ends for easy storage!

Easter Wishes...

I copied this Easter card from my friend, Doreen who made it last year.  I bought the Martha Stewart cracked egg punch on clearance & decided I needed to use it for a few cards.  The grass is also a punch by Martha Stewart.
